I was complimented a lot and I always found it funny how no one seemed to notice I was wearing the same tops and bottoms all of the time. I guess that’s the power of a little extra styling. 👍🏻

All great tips! A blazer or most tailored jackets, and accessories really are magic! Personally, I'd say it's psychologically healthy to leave the house in a "sloppy" outfit once in a while and not try to save it with any of these tips. It's not something I like to do often, but when I do it, I tell myself, "The clothes don't make you, you're cool on your own, you can get away with anything!" And I think of the billionares who walk around looking slovenly because they're so rich it doesn't matter, and I just live that "F*ck it!" life for a day 😂

❤ Accessories is really what you’re saying and it’s taken me a minute to really understand which ones work for my body. Sizes in handbags, jewelry, hats…oh and belts. I used to think they were for skinny people. So my thick waisted self was missing out. Once I jumped on the belt game I feel it made a plain white shirt and jeans look so much better with my simple loafers and I wear either simple jewelry. I now have a small basket in my closet with a couple of belts, some hats & scarves. Lightweight cardigans & jackets work best on my figure over blazers and so I have a nice mix now. Thank you for you work on these videos I am constantly learning and applying all these tid bits for my personal style. I feel very put together now and it’s only improving. 😊😊😊

Hi Emily, great tips. I would say that adding those tips for going out the house in a flash helps tremendous. I did something similar in last Saturday, I needed to go to the post office just next door but didn’t want to get dress, so it was early 9:00 am had in my pajama bottoms, put on a t-shirt, a jean jacket, black sneakers and tied my scarf into a head wrap and went outside.I was just putting mail in the mail slot window no one notice me. In and out. You do a good job. Thank you.

Hello Emily, Thanks for those ideas! My last minute details are scarves, broches and lipstick. I have a broche on every blazer and coat, so I don't even have to think of it, it's already there when I leave. I switch them depending on the season and the mood. And I have a few very different beautiful scarves ready to grab! I usually don't wear make-up, but a touch of lipstick (well, obviously not for a massage!!!) when I want to add a little something. I’m going through chemo right now and I always wear a cotton tank top, linen button down and linen draw string pants. These items help with my pre- menopause symptoms. Cancer survivor here: your choices sound appropriate (especially comfortable that’s so important). Maybe add a scarf around the waist or neckline of coordinating print or color. And/or a shawl/wrap. (Even a thin lap afghan has worked for me) Favorite Earrings or necklace if they don’t hinder your treatment. Fun socks A soft warm hat A smile (& I know how elusive they can be on chemo days) Add a tshirt if more layers are useful. A crossbody bag that you love & will keep things you need close. Know that you are loved and that prayers work; find small things to be grateful for every single day; laugh as often as possible. Wishing you good-feeling, well-lived years ahead ❤
