The translation of EZ's verse is not accurate though. The word "tama" in Tagalog can mean three things, right, hit, or a slang word for "not right in the head". So a more accurate translation of the line "Sa dinami dami mong mali, utak mo lang may tama" is " you made a lot of mistakes, the only right thing you got is that you're not right in the head" 😅 I hate that the punchlines get wasted with how things are translated literally because it's rap. Bars are missed for the non native speaker, not even google can help you out with

The point is, this is a reaction video and the reactor happened to google translate EZ's verse which came up with very literal translation. I, wanting him and other foreign reactors and listeners to better appreciate EZ's bar, gave a more thorough translation instead of a literal one. The intent is to help out. Do you understand that?

The translation of the fil verse is kind of very literal... Here's mine 45 calibre or 9, its up to you.. In the many faults that you've done, its just your brain thats damaged ("may tama" means damaged usually being punctured by a bullet, also play on" mali" which means wrong or fault and "tama" means true or correct) In your narrow-mindednes, you dont have any retort, In trying to be deep, it is satisfying to dip you in the sea, No need to prove to anyone who are listening, Can never be defended (or countered) by your temple or your mouth (use of sintido is often used to emphasize comprehension or understanding of something like "gamitin mo ang iyong sintido" means use you brains or comprehension, the use of "bibig" here i think is to emphasize that he can never be countered by words or theres no retort to him)

EZ is from Olonggapo and their dialect is called ILOCANO. That's his native tongue. But because Tagalog is the main dialect he uses Tagalog mostly on his transition. And yes, he did sing in Ilocano in Panalo and Fire in the booth. That's why he mentioned he speaks three languages in his video 27 Bodies. Two Filipino dialects and English.

A bit of correction on one bar "Sa dinami-rami mong mali utak mo lang ang may tama" Translation was "Out of you many mistakes only your brain was right" This is a direct translation which is correct but in Filipino "may tama sa utak" also means somethings wrong with your brain tama can also mean hit something like theres a hit on your brain. Double bar in Filipino.

ez’s tagalog verse has a lot of double meanings. “Sa dinami-rami mong mali, utak mo lang may tama” literal translation was as you said, but the word “tama” can mean multiple things in tagalog. “tama” means correct or right. it also means hit or getting hit. so in the context of “utak mo lang may tama”, it can be translated to “only your brain got hit”. in tagalog, this means you have a mental disorder. “Sa kitid mo mag-isip, pare, 'la ka man lang na banat” again, the literal translation is as you said. the word “banat” means to stretch something, but contextually in rap, “banat” can mean bars Naglalim-laliman, ang sarap mong ilublob sa dagat “naglalim-laliman” means trying to be deep with your thoughts and words. it goes well with the phrase “ang sarap mong ilublob sa dagat” because the phrase contextually means to drown someone in the sea. “di masasalag ng iyong sentido o ng iyong bibig” this literally translates to “cannot be blocked either by your temple or your mouth”, which ties back to the 45-caliber or 9 scheme this is a rough translation of ez’s tagalog verse. a lot of the verse gets lost in translation and is hard to convey in english and it certainly doesn’t do ez justice.
