Press Play came out in 2006, the same year Proof died. It also came out on October 17th - Eminem's birthday. 3. In 2005 Diddy changed his stage name from P. Diddy to just Diddy and Press Play was the first album under this name. He left out the P from his name, hence the line "...and leave out a P, did he/Diddy". Edit: Also, Press Play is two P's, which ties into Eminem's wordplay with the word rapper.
