Unfortunately this song didn't get the hype it deserves. This hands down is one of his masterpieces.
@GFXMOD4 жыл бұрын
The 3rd verse is a masterpiece. And the song would have been up there with his other hits if it had a video. Unfortunately Em has been picking *SOME* questionable songs for his videos since Relapse.
@sharshesa14 жыл бұрын
GFX MOD completely agree with you. On MMLP2 legacy deserved a video too. On revival believe probably was the best track the video to that joint would be sick. On kamikaze greatest or not alike deserved a video. On MTBMB I hope he does video for marsh but I really doubt it.
@rmx91174 жыл бұрын
Whole MMLP2 is under rated in my opinion. It has such a solid track list that its rare to find an album nowdays. Even with MTMB there were 2-3 songs i didn't enjoy much. But MMLP2, I don't remember any song being not upto my liking.

Maybe now it will. Considering that this year in April I think(?), a man named MATTHEW broke into Em's house (past his sleeping bad security he had apparently), and Em confronted him in his own damn living room, and stalled until the cops got there. Could've ended bad, not only in a physical altercation, but because of corona as well
@carlacorreia64724 жыл бұрын
@@CrazeeAdam I know it's crazy that dude is crazy as hell but thank God he didn't go there with the intention to hurt Em like the Matthew in the song did. I would fire those security guards that same night. How you gonna be slacking on your job of making sure EMINEM is safe at all times.

I love how carefully Em ties details together, from Stan. We now know the Starter cap was a Bronco cap. He refers to Phil Collins song,' "In the Air Tonight", again by saying, "I've Been Waiting on this moment all my life". Matthew copies his brother's ride to the bridge; by repeating Stan's phrases (ie. 90 on the freeway). His callbacks are so skillfully placed!

Ceo Oberabor i’m not a Stan, you’re just an idiot who thinks his opinion on Revival is the only relevant one. You clearly have issues if you can’t let it go. Revival is Em’s third best album in my opinion after the MMLP and The Eminem Show. Relapse and Encore are his worst. Other people will have other lists. I think you’re one of those shady fans that never grew up and doesn’t listen to Em for his lyricism but just to hear him say off the wall stuff like a child

I love this song so much. It's amazing to me to hear someone like Eminem reflect on how he is and how he used to be, and how he has affected people. Very few artist have this kind of self awareness, and very few artists last long enough to feel so different about what they said/did. "I'm the bullies you hate; That you became!" That line right there. It's so rare to see an artist, especially a rapper, acknowledge something like that. He's basically saying "The person I used to be was an absolute piece of shit, and while I don't regret anything, I've grown." Also: Em had a song with Xzibit called Don't Approach Me, where he expressed how he doesn't want a shit ton of security, but that was a while ago.

amazing song! just..speechless. about the "9 hours and 45 minutes" bar in the third verse there's a pretty mind blowing theory that "9 hours and 45 minutes is the total length of Eminem’s discography except collaboration albums up to this album (MMLP2): Infinite 37 minutes ; The Slim Shady LP 59 minutes; Marshall Mathers LP 72 minutes; The Eminem Show 77 minutes; Encore 77 minutes; Relapse 76 minutes ; Relapse: Refill 33 minutes; Recovery 76 minutes; The Marshall Mathers LP 2 78 minutes. Total minutes 585= 9 hours and 45 minutes" !!! this is crazy !!! maybe it's a reach, but knowing how much of a perfectionist Em is and how much attention he pays to details, it could also be intentional.
