If there are a lot of people hating on ‘Em here, must be from a younger Gen, because anyone into music history & rap maybe doesn’t have him as #1, but respects the amount of talent he has (in his lane). Suge is a beast, & if you weren’t around in the late 90s when there was no internet like there is now, it’s hard to put into words how feared he was in the industry. 50 is a straight up G, but without 50 and Dre, honestly I think someone would have taken him out. 50’s from the streets, but a smart businessman while giving zero Fs, and I’m LIVING for what he’s trolling Diddy with right now, that he’s known for a long time. Em is loyal, & 50 & Dre will have his back for life. Suge knew not to mess with 50.

I’d recommend reading Eminem’s bodyguard’s book, (worked for him in 1999, and MMLP came out the following year when his book did, so he was around for a lot of things happening in Em’s life in the lead up to that hugely successful album, and it’s as wild BTS as you’d imagine it to be).
