Dr. Dre gave us Eminem, 50, Snoop, NWA, and a lot of artists and he made them the biggest artists in the world. He the greatest producer of all time and he made a huge impact on hip hop with the Chronic album, in which is the one of the greatest albums ever. He’s done a lot for the culture and the world is full of great music that all of us grew up on.

THIS. THIS was the era...the time......I was in my late teens (born 1977)....Wish we could ALL go back!! Hip Hop ain't the same in 2024. Legends, Trailblazers, Pioneers from 1980-2010. Period. That Is WHEN HIP HOP/RAP was born. The 80's were the birth. It is such a privilege....to know this when it actually began!!! I remember pulling over on the side of the highway after the second & last time Tupac was shot. I cried my face off like I knew him. It had such an impact on me. I imagine if he were at the 2022 Superbowl halftime, or even here now...what would be HIS message. Wow!! I am and always will be a fan of Em, Dre, Snoop, NWA, and all artists relevant 😊 Also....just putting his out there...When the Chronic was first released.....WE HAD TO ACTUALLY PURCHASE THE CD. This is brought up in numerous documentaries on youtube about the subject. i've been listening to n.w.a. & dre since n.w.a. was still around and i've seen all the docs homie how the fuck are you gonna make shit up thinking nobody will notice hahahaha

Yep... at a party. And Dre only really got up with him because of how the party was feelin Snoop and the 213 (which also handed him the master of the melodic hook Natt Dogg). And what did Warren get? The left his a sittin at the airport and they went all on DR. Dre still big time warren to this day and Warren does nothing.... NOTHING... but up tha man and give him props on props in every interview. pissed me off man. Snoop quit rap and threw his rhymes book away. His verses on Gin and Juice, G Thang, Lodi Dodi, Whats my name... he threw all of it in the trash and walked away and was done rappin... Warren dug his a through that trash and saved every single scrap of paper.... AND warren produced on the chronic and doggystyle and got no credit... no money... Man Warren deserve so much more respect than he get...

There is a ton of hip hop I love but I do blame the genre for music not being very good anymore it's to easy to create from vocal harmonize to drum machines the start of it all because it's so easy to make with a computer no one has to take the time to learn to actually play something it takes years to become a great guitarist are pianist but minutes to write a complete song on a computer because of this people don't take the time are have the dedication to sit and write good stuff anymore and music just is not as important to kids as it ounce was I blame hip hop for that oh well I'm old sucks for the young they will never know what they missed

Maybe The Firm was a commercial flop but that album was getting heavy spins in NYC. Fiasco, Phone Tap, Desperados w/ the iconic Canibus verse, I’m Leaving…problem was NYC artists with West Coast production
