I bought the DVD since I saw it had him starring in it, then when the soundtrack with Em came on.. I lost my freakin’ mind. Man the late 90’s/early 00’s were some magical times, especially for an Em or Hip Hop fan.

Man what a time to be alive real talk. I’m a 80’s baby so I’ve been around just about every major moment in hiphop & r&b and I’m not going to talk like an old head lol and say it’s no good music anymore cause it’s definitely out there long as you know where to look, but it really was truly an awesome time during the 80’s & 90’s. Not even speaking just about Hiphop but all music especially Rock was out there available and it wasn’t a question of where to find it, it was a question of how can I listen to it all. I remember as a kid rushing home from school so I could pop in a blank video tape……..oh a tape is small box that had a film strip on the inside of it for recording for the young folks (I kid I kid of course lol). Anyway we would all rush home just so we could catch the music shows on BET, MTV (back when MTV played music almost 24/7 🤘🏾) and even VH1. I had tapes full of Rap, Rock & R&B. Just felt like such a great time to be alive (minus the other random drama bullshit that came with being black in Baltimore smh 🤦🏾‍♂️) and if you weren’t raised around that time you won’t fully understand 🤷🏾‍♂️. Sorry for the long post I ramble when I’m passionate about a topic and when I’m a little high too lol.
