I’ll never understand what message other rappers had that was so profound that it trumps all the other attributes. I grew up listening to hip hop starting from Rakim to Tupac to Wu-Tang and some people will say that the message they bring is what makes them the greatest. Can someone please explain what that message is/was that it deserves that much weight? Also, what message did they present that made it so unrivaled that it stands above the many messages and subjects Em covered? I think it may be more nostalgia.
