The reason why is voice sounds so muffled during the beginning, and middle is because it's showing how his voice wasn't full enough yet. Like, he had no confidence, was in the dumps, couldn't speak for himself, was confused, and all that. But, in the end you could clearly hear his voice because that's showing his peak of success and confidence.

Honestly I think this is Eminems most underrated song, the rhyme scheme is insane, and the fact you can picture everything he says like a movie while maintaining that same rhyme scheme throughout is just a testament to how much of genius he is with a pen. Seriously underrated song.

How could anyone underrate Marshall!? The shit he went through his whole life? The way he doesn't care about the fame but he does it for the honor and to help people through this stuff too!? I can't believe any of his songs could be hated! I have been listening to him for let's just say a very long time and I can actually understand a majority of his music on a more personal level but I would never hate this man. Imagine any other rapper, trying to stay on the same exact rhyme scheme through 3 verses and intertwine an entire story through-out the whole song. Only Eminem could write a rap like this.....the same f-in rhyme scheme through 3 verses.

Biggie was the closest, but he never had as meaningful as a message when doing a rhyme scheme through 3 verses. Also this was very poetic in that each verse shows a progression from doubting himself and being in the wrong for getting bullied to realizing he was different and that was a good thing. Honestly no other rapper has done it like this.

If i had to make a greatest hits collection, this would for sure be on it. It's like going back through time to my childhood, and even now when around people. It mimics symptoms of Aspergers or midl Autism, or hell even severe Social Anxiety. or it could mean that he felt like a alien growing up in the blackest, most dangerous city in America well being whiter then Nick Cannon and putting together versus that would make a Thesaurus throw in the towel. He used it to become a Icon in this cruel world, while other kis are getting homeschooled now, or saving money on range time and just bringing the AR to class. I'm not too far away from where he jumped off the porch and he has to be one tough Mfer to have made it through that without ending up in prison or in a coffin everyone done forgot about a month after it was lowered. Em is better then pac, biggie, nas, Jay and even kid Rock. Goat and whoever has the horns to take that title, I cant wait to be here to witness it.

We need to give Eminem his flowers. This guy has been at it since the 90s and he is still very active in today's Era with his music. And I like the fact that you never hear of him for some stupid celebraty stuff. The guy is all about the love of rap. He collaborated with everyone from every generation. He produced a Tupac tribute album. He always makes sure that he shouts out his influences every chance he gets and older Em has been very active about the injustice of African American. He even received a thank you letter from Rodney king's daughter for one of his song about police brutality. He grew up without a father and with an alcoholic mother. He got beat up through elementary school. He forced his way into rap music in a totally black industry especially back then when no white rappers was taken seriously for a career in rap. He pushed the limits of freedom of speech in America and became an example for millions of addicts by recovering from having his best friend shot dead and dropping into addiction until he had a near death experience. You can love his music or hate his music he is a legend and . I feel like the day He dies. Millions of fakes will start speaking about how legendary he was to music

When I was young people in my world laughed cuz Im a navajo that bought stole or just somehow aquired this white guys CD's. In one of the pics I saw he looked exactly like my older brother. My brother was an OG. Most of all my brothers/cousins were and still are gangmenbers. But my actual from the same mother brother. I wanted to be like my older bro like all lil Bros do. Than emeinem goes viral globally & everything fit with the way my life was going currently at the time. No pops, rage against my mother who was a heavy alcoholic and my foster parents weren't really cliccing with me, alot of fights cuz I was a navajo orphan in a pueblo community plus history screwed that up more won some fights than I never got bullied again But Eminem's music was the shit aside from N.W.A. Dre & snoop, PAC. Easily you can hear and feel the lyrics and sense the lyrical genius at work plus knowledge of tough up bringing & experiencing alot of struggle than putting it on blast with a dope beat. Fuccin dope. Now those ones that laughed and teased all guaranteed have him as one of there favorites. Eminem fuccin shook the globe and knew how to do it by fueling all the shit he endored. So to those muthafuccers that bullied Marshall Mathers. Thanks bitches haha.

even when he struggled with the slums in Michigan, beaten daily, disowned by his own parents. he rose to the top and became one of the greatest rappers in time. now he's not only rich with a huge mansion, daughters and friends close to him. he's got it all.. it still seems as if the past bothers him till this day. depressed even if he's got it made.. family makes a huge impact

Family has nothing to do with blood, and I'm confident em is smart enough to know which ones around him are family, and fuck ups. Sure it's a small circle, but sure he has family, just guessing, don't know the guy, just that he has turned his wiring into something phenomenal, I think the people who aren't fans aren't smart enough to keep up or understand the depth of his lyrics

Kunnos vK If Tupac and Biggie didn't die they would have fizzled away like every rapper. The reason them and old Em were so good was because of the pain. Tupac was amazing, no doubt, but his greatness is mainly in the fact that he died young and we never saw him age and progressively get happier with his life and his music take a hit. That's like saying James Dean was the greatest actor because he did so well before he died at 24
