I first heard of Meth on the Space Jam Soundtrack believe it or not, Lol. On that Hit Em High song featuring Meth, LL Cool J, Busta, B-Real & Coolio. And I also was familiar with Method Man because of The Riddler song he did on the Batman Forever Soundtrack. So threw Method Man, I naturally ran into Redman’s material by 1998, when he dropped Doc’s Da Name. And I was a huge fan of the Meth & Red - Blackout album when it dropped.
