+8yg768a just to clear this up, liberals are not "for abortion". They are for the right to choose to have an abortion (in this instance, liberals take the pro-personal freedom side). Getting an abortion is not some happy decision that people like to make, and I wish people would stop resorting to the bad people stereotypes of the other party (e.g. liberals are parasitic, socialist, jobless, evil hedonites sent by satan, and republicans are greedy, racist, uneducated, evil religious donkey brains). I understand the position of being anti abortion if you believe its literal baby killing based in some religious belief. But from a non believer perspective or even someone who doesnt read the bible too literally, tthe anti-abortion effort is highly authoritarian, doesnt make logical sense, and tries to impose a blief on people who dont believe it. I can draw an analog to gun ownership. Many on the left dont see a purpose in owning weapons, especially not automatic, killing machines. Based on this, if they were to say "nobody is allowed to have guns anymore, because we believe this is a solution to violence" it would be just to them, but encroaching on personal freedoms of people who live in a different culture. Thats how I see it, somone from a different culture trying to tell us how we can or cant live.
