Pretty ironic because that’s a title of an Eminem song in 2015

Mockingbird is my main song out of Eminem. I just like how the rhythm goes it takes me to a great mod when I hear it but it also has a great story that goes with the song. 😎
@lusugioyo85065 жыл бұрын
You likely heard some or all the falling songs, but maybe for anyone who feels the way you do about Mocking Bird will enjoy hearing others similar in the way they flow so nicely, make you feel whether happy or solemn or inspired, etc... The following list comprises some of Eminem's songs that I felt are similar in the way they are story focused and as far as I'm concerned have great rhythm, flow and lotsa spirit. They are all moving in some way to me, which I like in any artform. There are dozens of songs that could fit this list but these just came to me quickly and immediately right off the dome.They're not all thematically like Mockingbird, but are similar in various ways. Mainly, they are more story focused so I thought I'd share. peace :) Hailie's Song Headlights My Dad's Gone Crazy (feat. Haillie Jade) Yellow Brick Road My Darling When I'm Gone Like Toy Soldiers 8 mile rabbit run evil deeds one shot, 2 shot (feat. D12) Public Enemy #1 ...and of course... Stan Among others...

Hey man you're outstanding and I'm sure I speak for the majority of the fans that are supporting your talent my dude. I've checked all of your videos and they just keep getting better. I and many other supporters would love to see you do a new school hip hop to match your old school hip hop video. Suggestions could be rappers like the game, 50 cent, dmx etc. An R&B medley would be outstanding too if you choose to do either one. keep doing your thing bro. Cheers

rap played through a piano is so amazing and powerful.. I Love what you do man... Epic!!!
@lusugioyo85065 жыл бұрын
Zach Fritz I hear ya and agree, but the fact is that the music originally composed/produced by Dre and is in its own right amazing & powerful music, along with Em's God-like poetic wordsmith mastery & exceptionally exquisite articulation when he spits his intricate rhymes, naturally. This cover/medley was no doubt a beautiful rendition. My point is, though, that the genre is almost irrelevant here, because the music itself is simply beautiful and the fact it's rap is a rather insignificant detail to focus on. The solo piano performance in the vid is awesome, especially played by ear. Kudos! But for real, I believe it is a matter of prejudice (to some degree based on preconceptions of rap and the connotations and undertones surrounding that genre seemingly tends to sway many to unintentionally expect less from that kind of music and possibly distract some listeners from noticing that the musical compositions (many of which are actually done predominately with piano). Seems the casual listener basically disregards the production value as a whole and Em's lyrical rhyme & flow demands such attention that the actual music is mentally muted in a sense. Try listening to Eminems music with that idea in mind and focus more on the music itself (turn down the vocals if you have the mixing tools to do and fixate only on the music. Hot off the plate it is amazing and powerful. This, again, is an outstanding cover on the piano, but the music chosen to cover happens to be of above standard quality so I think doing it justice and not pooping on the original music is to be applauded. Not only did the piano rendition here do Dre's work the proper justice it deserves but does it above par IMO. It's understandable to have the view that "it's surprising to play a rap song on piano...that is amazing and powerful. It still stands that the music was already amazing and powerful -- but not because it's rap; more because it's exceptionally artistic and very high quality music. In fact, as I see it (along with plentyof others I'm sure), the mad props should be given to Eminem & Dr. Dre for making such great music in the days of contemporary mediocrity withing the rap game and society wide. I'm not discounting your view point, nor trying to asser my own as more valid, just expressing myself involving a common subject of interest which I have a compulsion to analyze and contemplate. Thought I'd share an alternative way of looking at the same topic. Great piano playing. Great source music. Amazing and Powerful in any case. Indeed. *IMO: when I say rap &/or genre is somewhat insignificant was a blanket statement BTW. I do not consider a vast majority of rap to be all that great. So it's a little unfair to compare; Em & Dre are Phenomenal and above par by a longshot. To be clear, their music is on a level all its own and pale in comparison to the majority of other rappers out there these days. It's quite possible and even probable that tons of rap songs played on the piano would be astonishing if played this well because much of the other source material would be far from par to start with and would take an entirely new arrangement to compose something that sounds good based on something lame, ...especially rap, since the lyrics and articulation and flow are all absolutely crucial for rap in particular. But the production value and artistic craftiness of the artists' collaboration is based on taste so it also is worth mentioning that this guy has a brilliant sensibility in terms of playing piano (by ear) extremely well. And he also has fantastic taste in music and an ear for talented artists with high standards for quality as well as great taste in music as well. That's it. ... and at last... my 2 cents is free. peace :)

I know this video is over 3 1/2 years old, and I’m pretty sure I already commented on it and/or your other Eminem video... but I listen to these two Eminem videos almost every single day. You are BEYOND talented, sir. And to know you learned how to play these songs by ear...?!?! SIMPLY INCREDIBLE. Many of Eminem’s songs have a beat/melody that’s very distinctive, and especially when played on a piano, sound absolutely beautiful (even the “silly” or more “disturbing” songs). Stan, Like Toy Soldiers, Hailie’s Song, Mockingbird, and Love the Way You Lie (to me, at least) sound so beautiful when you play them on your piano that I almost cry. I’m pretty sure I can speak for everyone who has seen this and the other video when I say it would be so amazing and appreciated if you could maaaaybe (pleeeeeease) do a WHOLE song??? 🥰
