To a select few honest fans know it was a bad album a whole album with majority of it in that annoying stupid accent was a bad choice and just shows where Em was mentally at that time cuz he’s since said it was an embarrassment and wishes he didn’t drop it

@@Turnheadcough Sorry a complex weave of multi-syllabic rhyme schemes with incredible flows doesn't do if for you cause some accents and dark material is mixed in, wudy, just cause Em's shoved a stick up his rear since Recovery doesn't mean the album is bad.

Uh no relapse wasn’t a good album the end was an improvement from the beginning but the accents would have been easier to handle for one or two songs but over and over just killed the album at least he was able to admit it was a bad album and I think he means it cuz I was at a show in 2014 and he only did one song off the album beautiful and only 2 songs off of encore just lose it and his verse from spend some time he didn’t even do mosh for a 2 1/2 hr show

Relapse is my favourite em album ( relapse refill ) I really liked the horror type of vibe of the album. It has my favourite song beautiful and being a recovering heroin user de javu was awesome to listen to. Its crazy to think that during relapse era he was coming off a methadone overdose and also all the pills he was taking. I wasn't that big fan of recovery for me it felt that he went away form hip hop. Relaspe felt that it was the last time we really heard the classic Eminem. He's new album music to be murdered by and curtain call 2 Im not a big fan of unfortunately I'm hoping that his next album goes back to the classic Eminem Eminem is always going to be one of my favourite artists.

No he’s said he scrapped relapse 2 after he started recording in Hawaii and realized he didn’t like relapse and didn’t want to do a continuation of it and he liked the new sound of the songs he recorded and that became recovery relapse refill was done to put out some of the songs that were completed for relapse 2 and he thought had a different feel and wanted to release them

At least he came to his senses and realized and admitted the accent was a terrible move and that he never listened to relapse and he cringes when he hears anything from it with the accent. Hell an interviewer once asked him why he did that and he made a comment like because he didn’t have an honest friend at the time to tell him don’t do it that there were too many yes men that told him what he wanted to hear also that the fact that fans still went out and bought it worried him thinking that if they will still go out and buy that album then they would buy anything he puts his name on and he’d have no reason to want to get better cuz nobody is there to criticize and tell him it isn’t good and that’s not good for an artist
@emiel2554 жыл бұрын
201wudy hmm kinda disagree with you man, Relaspe is my all time favourite album of Em. I absolutely love the accents and really wish they would come back even though I know they probably won’t. Also really hope he would make another serial killer focused album like this one. This album was the pinnacle of Slim shady. The last Sim Shady side I have heard from him was on ‘Framed’. I have always linked Slim Shady with him rapping about brutal stuff like wanting to murder and rape woman/men and children because that to me was the pinnacle of what slim shady represented. Also making fun of people (but with a goofy voice like he did on his earlier albums. And I haven’t really heated it ever since Framed and Relapse.
@elenachiritescu26813 жыл бұрын
Wow! Interesting comment! Thanks for the insight! I thaught that 50 cent is his friend amd Dr Dre...but perhaps Dre wanted to pamper him after all the trouble and 50 Cent is too grateful for everything and does not say a bad word anyway...

I don’t know... music is subjective. I find Relapse great.... actually more than great it’s in my top 3 Eminem albums. But something that I haven’t liked is how contradictory Eminem is about how he views his albums. Like you said, Eminem later admitted to really regretting Relapse but then he pays homage to Relapse in other songs. He always discredits his earlier work for being under the influence when he wrote so they don’t “count”. But hey I just say own it, because that’s how you were feeling in that moment. I guess it’s better to reflect on the past and maybe say “hey I could’ve done better”. But just don’t make excuses for it.
