I mean i prefer slim shady when it comes to him. But he might have SEEMED happier but speaking from a history of addiction myself... everyones different but I would strongly assume he wasn't really truly happy underneath. Drugs seem fun at first but quickly becomes not fun and normally is indulged in to be numbing and distracting something internally. So it's really a facade. With a lot of things in life you have to look past what you're seeing at face value. It's been proven many times that a lot comedians and goofy people are trying to make other people smile and laugh to distract from what they're feeling and making other people smile and laugh makes them feel a little better. Life's hard and sometimes not fun to severely understate 😂 but the only way to TRULY get better mentally is to face your demons face first and sober and that's the only way you can really tackle those issues... so anyway I say all of this to say he might have SEEMED happier and now seems not happy but it's very possible this was an act for him and not really him and he's stayed sober for a hot minute now so I would also assume he must be a little happier to work through whatever he has because he isn't still getting high. Anyway sorry for the long post.

@@kreal1990 it was hard back then because there was alot of talent…so you had to be a master of your craft to stand out plus you needed your own style….but in terms of marketing it’s much harder now….it’s really not comparable because now it’s about the internet back then it was about labels….you could sell tapes & cd’s on the corner but you needed the label for distribution….so once you had the attention of the label all you needed was your own style…since music videos were much more important back then it was also about having an interesting video but the label helped with that so the hard part was getting the attention of the label but now with the internet there’s way more artists out today & it’s about streaming now …which barely pays anything so you need strong marketing to stand out it’s less about talent & more about how you market yourself online
