Relapse 2 At the end of Relapse (my relapse redone, kzbin.info/www/bejne/qYeQc5WQrK9ssNE), Eminem winds up back in rehab. At the start of Relapse 2, Em is at an AA meeting, sharing the fact that he's getting better, he's going through changes. He then goes back to his regular life, he's on fire, he's going to bars, getting in fights, but returning to his old life comes with a price, and eventually, he relapses yet again. Em relapses back into drinking at a white trash party, and relapses with the murder on "Oh No". He meets up with 50 cent on psycho, then dre joins on crack a bottle, and 50 leaves for hell breaks loose. Em knows where this is going, and admits that 'things are gonna get much worse 'fore they get better'. On elevator he remisces on his past while shady continues to murder, and on "I Need A Doctor" he realizes he needs help. He sees that he cannot continue like this, and asks Dre to help him 'Dre im dyin i need you come back for fucks sake'. As well as having its own cohesive story, this album relates to the story of the previous album. Relapse is a story of a man who's stuck in a loop of addiction, and relapse 2 is how he breaks out of that addiction; by relapsing one last time and finally becoming the change he needs in his life, leading straight into Recovery, the title of his next album. Download on the site: sites.google.com/view/jaces-world/home 0:00 AA (intro) - Eminem is back in rehab after the events of relapse. 0:48 Going Through Changes - He admits he's going through changes, and gets very emotional speaking about his family and addiction. 5:27 On Fire - he's clean and feeling better, he's on fire & talking his shit. 9:00 Ridaz - He's still on fire and getting into fights at bars, though the fact he's in a bar foreshadows whats coming. 13:43 So Bad - The drugs tempt him, they're "so good but they're so bad" 19:06 Cocaine (feat. Jazmine Sullivan) [BLOCKED] - He draws parallels with drugs and the rap game, saying "this game's like cocaine", and he "wants it more than anything in the world. 23:21 W.T.P. - Eminem ends up at a white trash party and continues his relapsing "pull a fifth of bacardi outta my underwear, feeling like a body without a head" 27:14 Oh No - Eminem relapses, both into the drugs and murder. 31:06 Vivian (skit) - Eminem takes another victim, vivian. 31:45 Psycho (feat. 50 Cent) - Em meets up with 50, both on a full blown murder spree. 36:25 Crack A Bottle - Em and 50 then find dre, all 3 are at the peak of their drug trip, talking about both their places in the rap game and how fucked up they are rn. 40:54 Hell Breaks Loose (feat. Dr. Dre) - 50 leaves and with just em and dre, hell breaks loose. 44:53 Buffalo Bill - Eminem reaches back into his past as a child watching horror movies while doing the fucked up things he saw in real life. 48:50 Things Get Worse - Things have been bad at this point, but they're about to get worse, also foreshadows the good ending "I guess things are gonna get much worse ‘fore they get better" 52:45 Elevator - Em is continuing the murder, but he's also reflecting on his past, looking at what he's lost & what he'll continue to lose, leading him to his realization on the next track 57:36 I Need A Doctor - Em realizes he cannot continue like this. the song is a double entendre, while he's trying to help his mentor dre pull through his struggles, he also realizes that he needs dre's help to push through his own, and this realization is what brings him to recovery. "Get up, Dre, I'm dyin', I need you, come back for fuck's sake". It also functions as a stylistic change, being the only song on the album featuring recovery style production and singing, showing a mindset change while also teasing the style of the next album.
