There’s a deeper message in this face off. So many hints and clues. When Marshall said to slim, “we created Eminem, he’s the best of both of us. This isn’t about me or you, it’s about Eminem and the fans.” Then after Slim said that Marshall was right and that he appreciated him, they both gave each other that look with the “contemplative” music in the back ground. Clearly hinting at something else coming like an “Eminem” type of album. They fused in Houdini… and Houdini was a callback track to “without me” which was on the Eminem Show. There’s so many dots to connect. Eminem loves the Superman comics, and if you haven’t noticed yet, “The Death of Slim Shady” album title is inspired by the 3 series Superman comics from 1991-1993. Meaning there is more coming. Those Superman comics are titled: 1. The Death of Superman 2. The World without Superman 3. The Return of Superman 😏 🤫

This is called "shadow work" when you personify your darker aspects and interrogate them directly. when the release of this album was anounced, i said that Marshal is a person that knows himself very very well, and his self judgement is an example. Guilty Conscience2 could b even harder and we can conect that song to this Face-Off, its a masterpiece. After listening to the album i never saw this as being the return of Slim, it is him showing us that ppl change, that he still can be that person but he evolved into something diferent while having the same vision and posture about the wordl and hip hop. also being "the bad guy" and keep reacting to all the atacks from left to right takes a lot of energy, time, and can put u in a bad place. old eminem would never let benzino out of his bars after the last posts and interviews he gave. Basicaly Slim is no longer needed to protect him, but Marshal is totaly aware that Slim is needed in the lyrics to keep writing what he want, don´t giving 2Fks about no one! its a mindset, a powerfull one!!! Marshal is like, u try to point something bad about him but probably he already acknowledged that and even made fun of himself too. and that is Slim Shady, Eminem writing skills and Marshall as a human being just like us.
