50 has always been extremely loyal to Em, it’s inspiring. I saw an interview that Em & 50 did on 106 & park when Em was really struggling with his addiction & was spaced out so 50 stepped in & had his back 100%, stepping in & answering the questions & taking the lead. 50 at his core has a really big heart & just gets it ♥️

I honestly think the lack of streaming is what made it go more. The anticipation, the marketing, etc... companies had to push their artist, now they just drop on a random Friday.

00:13 I subbed to pateron just to see this reaction. Eminem has 1 line in that whole song that just cannot be toppled. It's probably the hardest line anyone's ever said. "I changed the whole Complexion of the game". That 1 line had 3 meanings with 500 branching back stories to each. The skin complexion of the game. The vocal complexion of the game. As well as the way people perceive rap/hip hop it self.

Wow just hearing how intimated & anxious he was by the whole experience in the beginning, but man could you imagine how anxious we would all be too!! There was some nasty hearsay floating around while 50 was getting black balled before he finally got signed: basically "Don't associate with him, or you might get shot." This might have gone beyond a rumor, as far as people knew at the time, when Jam Master Jay (who backed 50) got killed in his own studio just days after 50 was signed. It later turned out to be unrelated, but it isn't exactly a good look for anyone trying to do business with him back in 2002, is it? I don't know how it really was at Aftermath or if anybody actually thought that way, but there was some buzz about it at the time. They didn't back down regardless. If anybody is more up to speed on the facts, I'd be interested. This is just my attempt at trying to remember it all as an FYI.
