I feel like you need to understand what was going on during the time to really get the impact of his songs. During this time, he was a new artist (first white in a while and the last was horrible) that got a huge amount of protest for what he said on the first cd. At the same time, he dealt from being a nobody to someone everyone worshipped within a year after dealing with bullying his whole life. The MMLP was done and Interscope complained there was no single. So he made this one and then Real Slim Shady. Hopefully that explains his head space at the time.

Em mentionned "the song 'Guilty Consicience' has gotten such rotten response" you should do this one it was one of Em and Dre's first song together, they both act as the good and bad conscience of various people. Dope video too. "Eminem - Guilty conscience" BTW i been saying for years that Em's energy and voice had something unique, it's why I liked DMX and Xzibit too.

It’s a nice suggestion but make sure you react to the uncensored lyrics version of the track not the video. If you react to the video version you might as well react to another track because the video version is nothing like the original one.

The lady on the right started the listening not looking much interested,more like:" I'm supporting the guy on the left.."(first time here so I'm not sure if you are a family or not).. And as the song was progressing she was more and more involved into the storytelling and by the end was "singing" the chorus...I found very funny how Eminem impacts people who don't know a lot about him and are born after that time.. (maybe I'm wrong,but she looks very young)... Sorry for the english,it's not my mother language.. Anyway it was interesting, but I expected maybe little more observation about the lyrics and the music,but I like that you mentioned his voice always folowing the emotions that goes with the lyrics..
