Yes, this is a welcome move by the flight- to fly direct to cities other than the Capital, to avoid the already ever busy, overcrowded Capital City, though its bustling, but, Edinburgh should also be included. 😄.

Thanks for watching. Emirates had just recently re started its daily scheduled flight from Edinburgh to Dubai, currently flying a 777-200 but it will be using the A350 from January. A future flight for me maybe
