Why Emirates is not happy with Trent 900's? Any idea.

Emirates has many 777s (largest operator of 777) and most of them has GE90 engines, and the GP7000 is more similar to the GE90 than the trent 900. Hence to reduce maintenance costs even more, they chose more of the GP7000 rather than the trent 900. (Emirates bought many A380s as this will reduce maintenance costs)

@@Rami358able may be but i believe the 2 shaft tech of GP has a unique hi pitch hum when cruising that might be irritating and can cause less sleep but not sure if this is the case
