This is certainly your best ever video on your best ever flight:) I totally enjoyed it..well filmed, well edited and with the usual sense of humour..just the way the product deserves it..although: for having done full justice to the product you slept too much, hehe. You are totally right: the Latour and the Cantenac are worlds apart. You know why? Because the latour is their First Class Bordeaux while the Cantenac (which i never liked) is their Business Class Bordeaux. Only the first three wines on the list are "true" F wines..the additional 2 are the ones from C class. Same holds for the meals, btw..although here you cannot rely on the order. As to the internet: if you sign in with your Skywards number it is unlimited and free for the entire flight. The lounge btw has always been where you found it. Finally: envidious complements to the classical bootsy shot..you are in great shape..no wonder after your instagram postings hehe. Very best regards!!

Thank you so much homer. It's because of your inspiration that I took this flight. I was thinking of just doing LH to get my miles or something shorter. But because of you, I had to try the EK. Boy, was it worth it. Once in a lifetime. I don't think I will ever (nor can I because of the price) do this again. You know your wines so well. I was trying to do a wine tasting, but that Les Forts just was head and shoulders above the other wines. That california cuvee was not that great at all. Yes, exercise and diet are very important to me, so I do hit the gym a lot! Were it not for you, I would never have known about Paradis, either. That stuff is amazing. I wanted to go buy a bottle for my home after I drank it. I am not a scotch/whiskey drinker, but that stuff is simply amazing that I would drink it. I hope all is well, my friend. Looking forward to more videos from you. You are the original youtube trip reporter! There are tons of people reporting now, but you were the original!

Another great report sfflyer! As said in your other First Class report all that fake wood/gold is just to much.. nevertheless Emirates First Class once again looks amazing, shame you slept so long as you could have enjoyed it more ;) but i guess you must have been tired from your first flight! Great insight into what money can get you. I contemplated on doing AMS-DXB-BKK a couple of times Jacob...the price was £2,890 in first and 3 of the 4 aircraft were A380s then Ethan wanted to go on long haul holidays and that was the end of that Jacob.

superb Video Ultra de luxe Service. the caviar Service is so stylish..o.k. missing the ivory spoon... all of the three U.S. big ones can only dream about that inflight Service. plus there is no first class cabin on pac/atl flights available on U.S. carriers. Well, AA on very few routes. And look what AA is offering in First. Compared to this econonmy Standard. And we dont even talk about that seperate inflight Lounge and THAT SHOWER.Thanks

Oh wow... 16 hours on a plane is really a long time but in First Class... No problem :D Great report as usual! For caviar it is common to use a spoon made out of pearl or ivory... But I guess it is not that important. It would not bother me, either :D

Loved the video! I am flying Emirates to South Africa roundtrip from SFO in March. Now I know what to expect. Almost all videos of flying make one major mistake. The leave the sound on and all I hear is the noise of the aircraft such as wind and the clatter of plates. Why not turn it off and play music. It would be easier to watch.

Thanks. When I fly the A380, I have always been on the upper deck. That may be why I thought it was quieter, but if I was downstairs, I agree, it may sound different.

Emirates air first class is above and beyond! I’ve never seen showers on a big plane like the a380. Praise our jobs. Killer or calm. All worth the money. Glad this A380 landed smoother than the Lufthansa ones. I guess Lufthansa pilots can be aggressive with flying. I think because there bound and determined to get us to our destinations on time. Or maybe the A380 is hard to land. I’ve seen a few soft landings on an A380. I hope these soft or smooth landings on an A380 can keep up. Who knows we’re your going next. I hope it will be on JetBlue one day.

sfflyer123 glad to hear you flew JetBlue Mint. My one question is we’re did you fly to? New York JFK or Boston Logan? I’m sorry to say that the mint suite is a bit smaller than the Emirates first class suites. But I think I can cope with it. After all it’s a transcontinental flight from East to West. Or were your front West to East. Although did you have the mint suite or a mint seat? The mint class cabin on JetBlue goes 2 by 1. 2seats 1 suite. Even if you got the regular mint seats that’s fine too. There very roomy. I actually haven’t flown JetBlue yet. Let along haven’t flown a plane in almost 10 years. But I’ve seen the JetBlue mint class online. It’s great. Has an inflight market place with all complementary snacks and drinks. Try there sweet and blues potato chips.

To be honest, I feel Emirates's First class is far too gaudy and tacky for my tastes. The food was mediocre in my experience, and the service slow. The suite is also incredibly cramped. The few good things I can say about it are the sliding doors, the wonderful bathroom and shower, the projected stars, the boarding music which we love and of course the A380!

I wish someone would make an Arabic font more suitable for businesses, marketing, logos etc. I love the language and typeface but it feels so out of place in subtitles, shopfronts, labels.

I am not such an expert with cognac so I have to google it ... wow ! I hope the taste worth the price :-) There are a thing to say about the price: you pay 20000 US dollars when you book this ticket with a little advance (or no advanceat all), for example I just check the same ticket for novembre and the price is 6500 US dollars.
