Not hearing the sound..could clim to the eangine for better clarity..

the pilot might have flared but sometimes a gust of wind or downdraft can negate it and you lose energy and hit the ground. not every landing is gonna be silky smooth and its not always due to lack of still, if you're landing with a big crosswind, it probably won't be that smooth

They landed bad because of bad weather, the A380 isn't usually a difficult plane to land softly

I don't think flying Air China is a good idea, their pilots are not well trained.

United Business Class food has to be the worst. I have flown SFO-PVG route 28 in the last 25 years. The Polaris cabin is okay, but we had to share our cabins restroom, with econonmy! So that was a negative gaving economy passengers walking into Business constantly for 12 hours! Then the meals disn't live up to the price of the ticket imo. Compared to other international Business Class cabins, United is like an upscale MacDonald's where others have raised the bar in fine dining.
