Nice report, I see that you flew one of the few 777-200 LR which is only 777 with a bit acceptable business class even though 2-2-2 is still below standard, now they are finally intriguing 1-2-1 like on A380 as 2-3-2 which is on most 777 is ridiculous. The economy seems still very nice and better than many competitors, missing the times when they handed hot towels though, felt like business class. Anyway nice report.

Couldn't agree more, 2-3-2 is madness. If you want to offer a decent upgrade, 1-2-1 is definitely the way to go. We made a flight report with Latam, in a Business Class with this configuration. It's an excellent product if you fly to South America!

@EverythingFlight yes its industry standard now and airline which is positioning itself as luxury/premium has 2-3-2 on majority of its fleet is just bad. I saw you LATAM was nice, same for Iberia which I fly often its 1-2-1.

I think self-service system is nice, but sometimes it's good a "little hand" too 😉

Flew Emirates once and definitely 2 thumbs up on economy class, the best ever. They even gave us vouchers for breakfast at Dubai for the 6 hours layover, try that on any North American airlines and they will say dah
