I totally agree with you. My car is 15 years old, but I don't use it much. My usual transport is by one of my classic motorcycles. My oldest bike is nearly 50 years old. It's a Yamaha DT3 250 Enduro, 2 stroke, maybe not environmentally friendly, but how many bikes would have been scrapped and recycled in my bikes lifetime? I restored a cg125, and used it but it was just too slow for me. My newest bike is a FZR600R from 1994, again most people would have scrapped it long ago but I restored it instead.

Absolutely. People totally underestimate how much energy it takes to build a new vehicle.

That of course depends on the vehicle, too.

Thanks, it does the job really well, and keeps the bigger bikes feeling fast at the weekend. Small bikes can be loads of fun.

Absolutely. The problem is that governments need the vehicle sales tax from new vehicles.
