So heres a way that I think their magecraft works, the weapon they make is based off of how they interpret the sword they are making for example the sword that doesnt break is a weapon they can make but it doesnt break until Shirou thinks it will. @@nameless_ekmek If Emiya uses Excalibur he would die, while I think Muramasa has the potential to dodge (Iskandar was shown to dodge it, though he did sacrifice his chariot to do so.) it or even beat it with his own np, that would only make it a draw if he couldn’t. Though Muramasa stomps in all physical parameters, Emiya has never been impressive physically wise, and up against a servant of Muramasa’s caliber, he wouldn’t stand much of a chance, at best it’s a mid-diff for Muramasa.

Though those characters are unfair to place up against basic Servant Muramasa. Regardless if Emiya is serious or not, that doesn’t mean his limitations are suddenly non existent or placed further away. Muramasa is while maybe not top tier, he is one of the best servants currently due to him being capable of cutting through reality itself, not to mention fate, karma etc. Emiya is not top tier, he is strong, and he is one of the most skilled and smartest servants. But that doesn’t help against a servant like Muramasa. While this may cause another disagreement, Emiya isn’t event in the top three of strongest servants in the fifth grail war. In a normal situation he could only ever beat assassin and caster, while having potential against rider, he has no full counter to her mystic eyes. The rest quite literally stomp him, even saber (while injured and having limited mana due to having shirou as a master.) almost killed him in close range without the use of Rin’s command seal. Of course there are reasons because of that, and it wasn’t just a straight on fight, but the feat is still there. While this short never discusses how much mana they have, it would make sense to say they both have equal mana as their masters are both first rate mages. If this is the case, Muramasa with a lot of mana>Artoria with shirous mana. If you can’t get at what I’m trying to say, close range wise, Emiya doesn’t stand a chance. Long range wise Emiya has more of a chance, but Muramasa can close the distance and has been shown to block projectiles, meaning he can block most of Emiya’s arrows, and or even noble phantasms depending on which are shot. Of course in a fair fight, Emiya wouldn’t start kilometres away as that’s a clear advantage. So at best it would be something like Cú and Emiya’s first fight. A school yard apart at best for Emiya. Which of course means, range attacks won’t overly be effective for long. As obviously known, Muramasa can cut through Emiya’s reality marble, and or most noble phantasms thrown at him. All while closing the distance to eventually demolish him in close range.

Hence speed goes to Muramasa Battle IQ •Muramasa fought against the master s Spearmen Inshun and obliterated him •Went toe to toe with melusine in the air •One shotted both Grailed Buff Amakusa Shirou and his Reality marble •Decimated multiple skilled servants (albeit with together rasputin) In simpler terms he can fight against many opponents at once and fight against skilled weapons users. He can even go against Fae Lancelot one of the strongest servants out there while in the air. Endurance Also Muramasa's Endurance is far greated than Emiya with Muramasa's ranked B and Emiya's ranked C. Abilities You can argue Emiya has fought Cu but Cu wasnt even doing his best. Cu fought against gilgamesh for 12 hours with the ability to spam Gae Bolg. Emiya tanked 1 Gae Bolg and was on his knees. Plus Cu had the ability Protection from arrows rendering projectiles useless. In the case of Muramasa he has Karnic vision meaning he does more guaranted fatal blows to those with evade type skills like protection from arrows or eye of the mind. NP And for the fact that Emiya who has B ranked Mana required a suicide attack to project a COPY of excalibur compared to Muramasa with D tier Mana with the buff from the god susano + his life, he was able to make the ACTUAL sword of selection. You can argue archer can spam his MP, but Muramasa has Blaze EX, Territory Creation and Tame-Shimono that allows him to NP spam as well Also Muramasa's NP can destroy reality marbles and it's chant has the same number of lines as archers chant. Emiya has spent his existence fighting and got rekt by saber in the beginning of 2 routes. He gets clapped by Cu since even after years of fighting with the best he can do reaching a stale mate which was basically Cu sparing him. In Extella he defeated Kiara and during his fight he was able to move faster than the speed of light however I dont count this or his strength when he fought BB since its only during these fight he was able to truly break his limiters. Furthermore the versions of Extella, Extra and CCC are all in a fictionalized digital world. So I'll be basing archer of FSN and FGO

Inteligence wise Archer is far superior but in terms of Battle IQ, Senji is a way proficient fighter complemented by Musashi (The only servant to actually get into lostbelt 5) + Senji can stand toe to toe in fighting skill (note: not ability) to Fae Lancelot imo if Emiya was given the same power as Senji, he'd still lose to Lancelot Fae.

CCC Emiya wins based off he's not a Divine being, and Alter Muramasa is created specifically against Divine beings. I’m not fully sure in which direction should battle IQ goes. I will 100% say that EMIYA is definitely the more experienced and varied of the 2 with him literally being known for being able to strategise his way out of tough scenarios, that’s how his “Mind’s Eye (False)” is explained to us. “As long as there’s a 1% chance he will see it through”. However, Muramasa has the equivalent of Instinct + battle clairvoyance that allows him to see all of an opponent’s future actions in a fight, this being a combination of his vessel’s ability to read swords, their history and their abilities and Muramasa’s values and ability to see through the karma of all things allowing him to see the future of the battle.
