A simple, inexpensive panthenol cream with 5% urea "cured" my atopic dermatitis. I had the dermatitis on my face. I had been using corticosteroid cream for over a decade..In the end, not only was the corticosteroid cream ineffective, but it had also created another problem: perioral dermatitis. I accidentally stumbled upon the urea cream at that point, that is, exactly when I would have to stop using steroid cream! It felt soothing the moment I put it on. Within 3 days, my atopic dermatitis rashes were all gone and the perioral dermatitis disappeared within one week. For me, it was a small miracle. Dermatologists had told me I would have to use corticosteroid creams for the rest of my life. THEY WERE WRONG. KUDOS to this Italian professor who obviously cares enough to want to spread this knowledge further.

Thank you for this information! Where are they obtaining this urea from? Animal? Human? Thank YOU

I used 10% urea lotion on my arms & thighs coz I have Keratosis Pilaris (KP). No effect on the bumps sadly. I had no choice to use 40% urea now coz thats the only concentration available here. I'm just desperate to cure my KP. They said that in time, KP gets better but I'm already 30 and it only got worse and worse in my late 20s. It's so frustrating! I hate this KP. Even affecting my confidence, imagine living in a tropical country and I can't even wear sleeveless or shorts without people looking or asking about it. 😩

I’m here for the same reason I have KP on my arms, face, and forehead. The keratin plugs destroy my hair line and I’m 18 by the way

@@benjaminmendy6930 hey man! Have you tried Cerave for rough and bumps? Those with KP and even doctors are raving about it. So far the 40% urea (used it on my right arm & thigh) is good but same results with Amlactin (used it on my left arm & thigh). It seems to effect well IF i put on lotion immediately I got out of the shower. It was recommended by Dr. Dray (YT). Its not the best feeling tho coz it feels sticky and drying it takes some time. I mean "good results" by lessening the intensity of bumps but not my quantity. They are still on arms and thighs but not as reddish and bumpy as before. I just want them gone for good!

Try adding lactic acid to your moisturizer before applying on the KP. Just a drop is enough, be careful. It's the only thing that worked for me. Make sure to wash your hands afterwards or they will peel.

Hi. I grew up having KP and I’ll tell you one thing I believe got rid of mine. Ivory bar soap. Weird I know. I used it on my face as well. Also make sure you actually use a physical exfoliator like a wash cloth or loofah. Last things, your skin is your largest organ. When you have skin conditions it’s almost always diet related. What goes in your body will be expressed outside on your body and hair. Veggies, fruits and meats. Cut out dairy. Especially for Eczema. I didn’t use a body wash until I turned 25.

@@courtneyderouen I actually have 2 family members with eczema but I’m 18 and a guy the doctors just keep saying it’s testosterone but I believe it’s also diet. Happy to hear that you got rid of yours

I'm guessing we don't hear much about urea because it's so cheap.
