I once met a guy who carpeted his kitchen ceiling. Turns out it was directly below a neighbours bedroom, and theres a whole story there too, so they made certain sounds he really wanted blocked out.

If you're going to use lint/pet hair/etc to make clothing, you don't just attach matted pieces of it until it looks vaguely acceptable to the severely drunk. You need to use a drop spindle or something to make thread or yarn from the material. Once you have that, you can knit clothing, or weave fabric to assemble into clothing. If you want to make eggs using some random eggs instead of chicken eggs, you need to use a process similar to how you make chicken eggs. If you try to bake them like pre-made dinner rolls, because pre-made dinner rolls are easy to make, you will not end up with anything like the eggs you make with chicken eggs, and it's not just the fault of the different eggs.

Ok, I actually like the design of the geode sink. Yeah logistically it probably wouldn't work as well as a regular sink (as gunk and stuff would get stuck between the crystals), but never the less it's still pretty.
@AtomicArtumas2 жыл бұрын
But if you're going to spend that much on an amethyst geode of that size, just... get a normal sink and use the geode for something else that it actually works for. Like maybe a bathroom or kitchen storage bowl. Or just install it as an art piece by itself somewhere. It's just... absurdly unusable as a sink.
@aaronmccullers3842 жыл бұрын
Honestly if you wanted to use the sink while keeping the geode my recommendation is to fill in the gaps and cover the top with a layer of glass designed for bathroom sinks. You keep the look while you dont suffer from the sharp edges. You will have to worry about the depth of the sink tho
@mollysministuff2 жыл бұрын
It would get ruined by mold or algae. It's better to display it as it's own decoration.
@littleboyred12 жыл бұрын
@@aaronmccullers384 Came down here to say this. Though i think the sink would be impractically small unless you used an impossibly big (or just ludicrously expensive maybe idk) geode. Corn lead weights, you attach them to all 4 corners of a table cloth (outdoors) in order to keep it from blowing around. Why those on this list? 'Plates on walls' is a centuries old decorating tradition. In fact a plate rail was installed in _many_ homes & castles to display dishes in between meals. That's why china is pretty all over & not just around the borders.
@anibal95453 жыл бұрын
The latter, I believe, is because the plates that go in the wall are purely of a decorative kind. They're not meant to be eaten on. However, the plates that they were going to use were of the functional kind instead, hence why is was on the subreddit.
