I've looked at most of them. Like kait checking the car and going to scrap yard. You can't change a single main scenario. They will always happen and even with certain choices you think should make a difference if they're changed the same thing still happens. That's not butterfly effect. BE should impact almost everything and that's not the case. The mansion scenes have alot of predetermined choices too. Hundreds is a long shot where almost all of them still end up in the same scenario. This is the only video I found that's showed a change. Yet BARELY because Abigail STILL ends up in the shelter KAITLYN STILL ends up checking engine and going to scrap yard. Also btw these games come out every year you can tell they cut alot of corners

Also Emma still ended up in the vehicle even after being bitten AND if Abigail died earlier Emma would still end up in the shelter too. B.E. doesn't work that way and the choices arnt fleshed out enough for a second playthrough. Only things that change are who lives and who dies and tiny quick time events. All major plot points still happen as long as everyone isn't dead. Sometimes there's things preventing certain individuals from dying.

I’m on my 3rd playthrough now and I’m sad to sad this is actually a pretty shallow game from supermassive. First 2 playthrough were fun but after that you’ve seen everything. Most of the choices don’t actually matter because characters always end up in the same scenarios

I'm still playing the game and ended the chapert where Emma escapes the werewolf using firecrackers but I feel like she was infected but i didn't see the werewolf bit her so I'm glad I found these scenes just incase she did get infected and have some choices to save her and her fellow campers...I feel like my Jacob would be safe because he's blooded and has Emma's bracelet (I got it in the first chapter playing him) and the werewolf (Nick?)didn't attack him when he came back for Emma (where Emma fell the balcony when werewolf attcked) I thought that was like super cool

Jacob because irritated about his relationship with Emma, Nick becomes extremely rude, Chris was anger, Dylan was anger however he was resisting it to tell Kaitlyn to run, Laura I can't really say. Emma was insecure and frustrated with Abi being cautious. For the most part they get angry.

Also there are scenarios that feel... incomplete or unfinished. Like, if Ryan saves Jacob from the cages, Jacob will run to the forest and crying while feeling guilty. That will be the last time you'll see jacob. I feel it should've have been a scene where everyone reunites as a group and gets attacked by Caleb and Silas and probably Nick (such a waste of a character). So you would have have 11 survivors which can die in the same area, a big problem being 3 werewolfs, and the action sequence like Dylan And Kaitlyn Vs. Caleb on the scrapyard

@@suleos it makes me mad because The Quarry has like 9 playable counselors, but 1 of them turns into a werewolf and becomes unplayable for the rest of the game (thing that is scripted and doesn't depends on you) and that the game focus on Laura and Ryan towards the end, and completely forgets about the rest of the characters.. but yet, The Quarry is a good game. between 9 counselors only 4 survived the night. Nick, Ryan, Max & Laura and Travis survived on my first run. But i don't count Travis because of being unplayable. and i prefer it for characters to die so you not only avoid these ''Missing Elements?'' the game should have i suppose, but it feels more like a horror movie... concept that Laura throws completely through the window with her stupid ''badass moments''.... goddamn it! everyone who i hate survived!

Wow the cellar ladder scene makes SO MUCH MORE SENSE like this. I only ever had Emma be normal, and then the game sets up the scene like she’s the villain with the music and the framing and it really made me go “wait is Emma the bad guy? Is she gonna kill me?” even though I knew nothing was wrong with her. None of her suggestions made any sense for two uninfected people. (Of course in this version abi looks like an idiot for not noticing anything.)

exactly. i assume it was just too much work to animate it ALL. thats why most characters dont react appropriately to deaths around them too. that means they couldve died before. same thing i saw in walking dead back in 2014. a character may die-> he gets mostly 1liners after that

I just wish this game had more time and money, where we could have an actual ending. plus multiple endings like one where Jacob doesn't mess with the van and they all leave giving you an achievement called "that was easy" or something. Maybe an ending where if Jacob survives with the rotor arm he brings it back to the van, and they all leave. Or even a real ending where they all reunite at the lodge and all those "this character liked/disliked what you did" would matter where they would recount their night to each other and all hug. throw in some until dawn interogation scenes where they show off their evidence and you have a near perfect game.

If Jacob find emma's bracelet in Chapter 1; the bracelet is where Emma was saying goodbye to the kids, Jacob must take it, survive and get infected until the end, Emma must get infected too in order to meet with him, and when Jacob transform, he will take off the bracelet because it has silver in it, Emma use it to defend againts Jacob and she survives and Jacob werewolf run away :3 How clever she is in moments of danger!

Yes the QTEs are very easy, but yet in my first playthrough I managed to get Emma bitten twice. I don't even remember how she got bitten the first time, I don't believe I messed up the QTE, the second time when she encounters the Hacketts, I thought that it would be a "hold your breath" thing and pressed the x-button automatically, without thinking and she started running 😂

So most of the boring, seemingly pointless sections of the game become meaningful if you screw up somewhere else. Making all the "good" decisions have the least interesting results whereas Until Dawn found ways to throw you a curve ball. Alternatively, The Quarry often rewards "bad" decisions whereas in Until Dawn you're guaranteed a bad outcome. As another comment on a Dylan/Kaitlyn kitchen choice video pointed out, Until Dawn is about survival, and The Quarry is about chaos.

Blame the art department. There is a whole chapter or so where Laura is still walking around with her face scars despite them having healed and disappeared in an earlier one only for them to disappear again later. Betting the intent plot wise for the infection/incubation stage was to have them just look like they had a fever, be super sweaty or something, something much less obvious that could be explained away as due to exertion and stress.

@@crumblyairship If you kill Caleb but not Silas and Nick is alive in the end game scene it says that lifts Nick's curse i.e bit by Caleb. Even though it'd make more sense if it was Silas who attacks Nick. I thought Caleb had locked himself up in the scrapyard. It's why the game makes such a big deal of Dylan and Kaitlyn opening all the locked gates looking for car parts, they let Caleb out. But apparently the Hackett's just mark the full moon on the calendar for fun- they don't actually do anything about stopping themselves from running around as murderous werewolves. Too much logic to expect them to know what to do 1 night of the month after 72 transformations.

Are you serious? Watch "Detroit: Become Human", that's where the realistic graphics are really. I appreciate Supermassive games and everything they do for us, but they obviously messed up in this game. If we talk specifically about the graph, they literally darkened EVERYTHING so that there would be no visible mistakes in the form of opaque water or Laura's blue eyes, which should be yellow. The animation of faces is often terrible, some characters squint their eyes, Abi's hair is lagging, and Emma's mouth is damn scary.

Does Abi ever use the silver bracelet Laura made her? I thought she was gonna use it to defend herself against Emma but nope. Never seen her use it but just die.

Laura made a silver bullet, that Kaitlyn carries, out of that bracelet. So technically it's used to defend Abi when Kitelyn shoots warewulf Emma by the van.

Emma can actually be saved from werewolf Jacob in that scene. If you let Jacob pick up Emma's silver bracelet in the beginning of the game, then in this scene infected Jacob instinctively throws off the bracelet before turning and Emma picks it up. Emma then scares off werewolf Jacob with it. Unfortunately the silver bracelet is only used here and no where else, which is pretty dumb

I'm kind of annoyed that this game doesn't give a single bit of time to almost any of the relationships in this game. Abi and Nick get pretty much nothing, since he always gets bit. Ryan doesn't get with either Kaitlyn or Dylan at all. Laura and Max are already established at the beginning, but don't get anything past that. Jacob is like the only one even trying, but Emma is just annoying about it and never gives him any thought afterwards. I guess what I'm saying is, aside from Laura, Max, and Jacob, it doesn't feel like anyone cares about anyone. We barely ever even get to see ANYONE react to any of the deaths.

Laura and max reunite and have a heart-warming moment if Ryan dies and Laura kills Travis. Emma and Jacob reunite if she turns into a werewolf in the van and Ryan kills Chris (Which will cure her infection). She'll tell Jacob that they're just no good for each other and he needs to let go. Kaitlyn, Dylan, and Emma will mourne over Abi's death. Ryan will try to kill travis if he kills laura. Max can find Emma's body if she dies at the treehouse. Basically what I'm saying is, there's attention to detail there, it's just you have to make certain decisions in order to see them.

She literally can get bitten though. In the neck. One of the achievements is for everyone to get infected, and Abby getting bit in the neck is required for this achievement. Edit: She got bit in the area between her shoulder and her neck.

I must have had a glitch on my first playthrough because Emma never got bit but still turned into a werewolf in the van. She mentioned a scratch to Jacob when they meet after the zipline, but scratches don't turn people. Also does anyone else find it weird that after Jacob and Emma get split up after that encounter, Emma is next seen coming on shore at the bonfire and talks about wondering where everyone is and why they wouldn't be there after Jacob tells her monsters and hunters are running around and stuff? I feel like there are a few missing scenes in a couple of spots.

Did you by any chance miss a QTE with Emma at the tower as she was being chased by the werewolf? If you missed a QTE inside the little tower building it is probable you got bit. The "scratch" she got was a bite.

@@ChengTeoh I made them all. I went with the fast option for the Zipline crank but made the jump qte. I ran from Jed and Bobby but I tossed the firecrackers which gets their attention sooner and they shot the werewolf before biting her there. Its weird.

(Did Dylan even get bit, or was it claws as well?) But why didn't Laura get infected from Max swiping her eye? Cuz the eye was removed entirely? But...not a single touch ANYWHERE ELSE _but her eyeball_ then? That doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me.

@@DragoNate from my interpretation what he means by that is that he could bleed out to death. If werewolf nick cuts him deep enough he’ll bleed out. Maybe the “careful if he cuts you, you know what happens” is a reference to that scenario happening in the past where someone was cut and bled out to death. I could be wrong but that’s what makes the most sense to me since the cut doesn’t infect them.

While it's disoriented, upside down, angry, with very large powerful claws, it would surely leave a decently sized gash, especially if you're getting that close, likely one that would take some serious dressing to take care of, if they'd even have the means or the time to.

It’ll try everything it can to scratch and claw at those that’s close to it. As we saw with max and Laura, max was able to take out her whole eye. So I wouldn’t doubt that if Bobby did get too close, he could get slashed at his neck or another important part deep enough to bleed out quickly

@@zumabbar alright here I go 1. Despite Caleb being the one to infect Chris, if Chris is spared by Ryan and Caleb is killed with silver, Chris will still come out as infected at the montage. 2. While there is a point that Chris evacuated to his family’s attic immediately, Caleb and Kaylee will still be free to roam at the beginning of the night. 3. Werewolf infection grants a type of regenerative immortality, in seconds alone giving the ability to survive a bear trap bite to the head, freezing, blood loss from the ribs, the weight of a car, getting run over, and getting shot through THE HEAD. But Emma is supposed to be dead by fall damage from the zip line tower after she is possibly bitten.
