Wow!! What a great choice. Emma has no words to thank you for such a beautiful presentation. You put a lot of feeling and believe me, everyone at FLOORNation cried. One of my favorites from the homonymous album. I met Floor's voice on After Forever's second album (Decipher) and fell in love with the band (and Theater of Tragedy) and Floor (with Vibeke Stene). Sail on this sofa being honored after many career dramas, plus Floor's real home that is Nightwish, marriage and a baby. What a wonderful life.

Emma's best performance so far in this beautiful and emotional show. Emma was choosen by Floor as her favorite of the evening. Floor wrote the song herself for her mother who suffers from a chronicle disease. Her mother masked it as much as possible for her children so that they could have a normal life. Emma picked Floor's song as also her mother went through a tough period with cancer. So they shared a similar experience. Floor always hoped that nobody was 'mis using' her song. She was very deeply moved due to the perfect performance of Emma. She got back in memory lane when her song was sung by Emma she told.

I was a bit worried because Strong is not only hard to sing technically. Emotionally, it's soft and hard, it's vunerable and strong, it is tears with a smile. I listened to and shared this song when the passing away of my loved one had been one year ago, a few months ago. I was also worried because this song reminds me of two people that are no longer with us. There was no need to worry, this was beautifull. Congratulations, very well done.

So far my favorites had been Samantha, Henk and Tim, but this time for me the big surprise was Emma. Indeed, the Pop girl was the only one who performed a song written by Floor in a perfect, impressive and amazing way, adapting her masterfully to her style, resulting in a version so powerful that it broke the Goddess of Symphonic Rock. As a Mexican fan of Floor IMO this was the best song of the night in the best episode of Beste Zangers and with which Emma has earned all my respect and admiration 👏👏👏👏

Emma is wonderful. Based on her looks, you'd think she just has a standard pop style singing voice. She's incredibly expressive and soulful for someone who was only 23 at the time this was aired. It's just like how many people would think Floor does nothing but scream because she's from a metal band but she has that angelic voice. You can't judge a book by its cover.

Not making everything a competition is a good start. As is getting talented musicians instead of famous people on board for a music show. Even Floor was poorly known is her own home country before appearing in this show and she was already known to be highly skilled vocalist.

Agreed. It seems all the 'talent' shows in the US have to be made into a competition, why? Why can it not just be about the artists, known or not, sharing their talents...and this show's format of having an honouree having their day to have others sing for them is a wonderful concept. THIS is reality television as I'd like to see it. The US used to have stuff like this with their variety shows, but that is a bygone era I suppose.

The strange thing is that you can never tell from just seeing a person as to whether they can sing or not. To be on this show one obviously has to be able to sing. SO. This is the first time I have watched Emma sing. And just WOW. The sensitivity in her deliverance of this song is just outstanding. Tears with everyone else. I am a fan now. My mother is going through excruciating back pain (botched back op about 6-7 yrs ago) every day... trying to go on every day with the pain. She can’t anymore, she is considering another operation if anyone wants to touch what nonsense they did the 1st operation. She is scared, but every day is a day of pain. Beautiful lyrics Floor.
