Mistakes on the second turn, on all her jumps and leaps and dismount... I think the score is fair.

I wish Kim would have taught her a side split 1/2 + side straddle 1/2 like Biles is doing now, instead of the front aerial + split ring. the split ring could be devalued and then her D-score would go down by 0.4

Switch ring she gets only 0.1 off I think. The split ring I agree is rough, she should move the split + Korbut after the front aerial instead to get that 0.2 CV

@@ianxlevergara5353 She never did, but a few other USA elites/former elites have. Corinne Bunnagan, Lizzy Leduc, and Kaitlin Deguzman come to mind. Would love to see Malabuyo represent them because she would be competitive with not only the SEA region athletes but gymnasts all over Asia

Very easy to lose flexibility with leg injuries because of how hard it is to stretch properly during the down time. She’s had a fair share of injuries over the past few years that have made her training inconsistent.
