It’s great to hear she’s aware of the way she’s played the past year, she hasn’t opened up and gone on the attack. The plus side to that is she has a better rally tolerance from playing more like a pusher. In comparison she would probably do well consistently in a lot of ITF tournaments but last year I don’t think she would’ve outlasted them enough. Having all these matches with the top 100 players, dealing with their better ball speeds and scrapping with them has made her fitter.

Three so heavy matches in three days was too much for Emma; she looks tired. She can look back on one of the most satisfying weeks of this year. I agree with her assessment that she is playing better tennis now than during the US Open and that women's tennis is developing very rapidly. All negative comments on someone of 19 years at the beginning of her career are unjust and unworthy.

Emma obviously disappointed, yet thinking forward as always, which I like. It’s a learning process...👍

Agreeed, to have achieved what she has done so far and making history without any experience, that shows how huge she could become as more experience and learning along the way could make her best ever, not a dead certainty but very high possibility she is very clever hard working and is always aware she has more to learn but keen to Yeah watch this space she could well be a legend

She isn’t taking a loss seriously. Matches are not practice. If she think that way, she is gonna never achieve something and keeps losing. Or just making a plausible excuse. Anyway you have to try to win every single match, that’s professional. Even though she loses, she dose have a plenty of money, which may be making her think it’s okay to lose. She doesn’t have a passion in tennis like Rafa, Roger, Serena…etc and isn’t eager enough to survive in this sport.

A successful person learns from their experiences. Like Emma mentioned in the interview, by playing players better than her, she realizes she has to improve her game in order to play competitively at the pro level. Coco Gauff is developing better by playing at the pro level early in her career. Martina Navratilova realized that she had to up her game after playing several years on the pro circuit. She was only 5'6" but dominated after she included strength training to improve her game.
