I think the interviewer needs to learn a lesson that "Friendly" does not equal over-bearingly enthusiastic and like a kindergarten teacher

This movie is heartbreaking in the exact same way as "Casablanca" was. Absolutely amazing I was reminded of it so much. I would have never believed that another movie could make me feel that way again.

At first I was surprised that Emma was acting so professional and normal, but then she proceeded to conclude that there was a ghost in the room, and I thought, "Oh, there she is."

good on the interviewer for being so enthusiastic although ryan and Emma were clearly so tired

Usually Emma and Ryan are silly and fun and upbeat together, but in the interviews for La La Land they both seem stuck up, snooty, over it. Sad.

i mean is it only me? or does it seem like ryan is kind of tired of emma by now... ? he seems a little off or just bored.. they've done three movies together now, so either these two are really great friends, or really tired of each other... it just looks like ryan is annoyed of her... ?
@18Juliette19988 жыл бұрын
I think he's just tired, acting in a film this is a lot of work. In addition, when they are promoting a movie they hear the same questions all the day
@jerrythepotato19198 жыл бұрын
I haven't seen many interviews with Ryan except for the ones for La La Land, but from what I can gather, he seems to be a very introverted and possibly shy person. Even if he isn't, I can understand not wanting to do countless interviews with someone you spent 3+ months doing a movie with.

emma Woods Movie promotion is exhausting. You literally sit in front of that picture while journalist ask you the same questions over and over.

If you'll notice most of these interviews are done for various networks at the same time on the same day. They must have gone through 30-50.

+emma Woods - I don't think Ryan is tired, bored, or annoyed by Emma. As others have said, it's tough to be excited about answering the same interview questions over and over again. Also, Ryan and Ken Kao started a production company this past June (2017), called Arcana. Their first official project is a movie titled, "The Favourite", filmed in London, and Emma Stone is one of the principal actors. If Ryan was tired of Emma, he wouldn't have taken on that project. The movie will be out in 2018.

The interviewer talked too much. How about asking a question they can elaborate on?
@caeyramirez33188 жыл бұрын
This proves my point that childrens ruin your life... look at Ryan he is so doll, boring and bitter on this enterview, first time i see him like this. And i do see the great chemistry between him and Ema but he just seems tire and sad and that most be due to his kids LOL. the enterviewer was so excited and they were not having it.

It has more to do with the fact that as the stars of this film, Emma and Ryan are contractually obligated to sit in a room from 7am-10pm being asked the same exact questions over and over again by different journalists to promote the film. And, now that the marketing team of the film have decided that they do want to pursue Academy Awards for this picture, the promotional work that the two of them will be required to do will be extended until the end of February. If you get a chance, please check out Bojack Horseman on Netflix; the arc of Bojack pursuing and Academy Award is actually very, very accurate to what it takes.

I wasn't a big fan of this movie. It was good but it didn't wow me or anything. Pretty by the numbers. Hacksaw Ridge and Arrival were far better!
