“Her high, clear voice highlights each syllable, letting you hear the words form, one seemingly following inevitably from the other, until they feel handed down, fragments of old songs now speaking to each other.” - Greil Marcus
"The Nashville singer-songwriter finds the sometimes-hidden heart in each of the Dylan songs she chooses, softening the sarcasm of “I Contain Multitudes” and somehow making “Simple Twist of Fate” even more of a weeper. [Swift]’s version of “One of Us Must Know (Sooner or Later)” is one of her best, with her slow-burn vocals bringing out all the yearning that Dylan was too cool to let show in 1966." Simon Vozick-Levinson, Rolling Stone
"...an album for our times. It has origins in the pandemic and although not perhaps a vaccine against it, it will sure help until one gets here. It’s a joy from beginning to end…" Tom Dunne, Irish Examiner
This clip was inspired by legendary designer and New York Magazine co-founder Milton Glaser, this video is a loving homage to 1960s and 1970s design, as well as a tribute to Bob Dylan. It is the third animated single from Emma's critically acclaimed "Blonde on the Tracks" album.

About Blonde on the Tracks:
"There’s a Byrdsian chime here, a Carnaby Street lilt there, and pedal steel swoons bolstering Emma’s seemingly effortless vocals. Swift, like Dylan himself, contains multitudes.”
Jody Denberg, KUTX Austin
“An Emma Swift performance can bring you to the edge of tears, because her voice is both heartbreaking and heartbroken all at once. It takes a lot of resilience to be so vulnerable. She brings this strength and beauty to her upcoming album “Blonde On The Tracks,” a collection of her interpretations of Bob Dylan songs.”
