This is beautiful - and my god your version of I Contain Multitudes moved me beyond words. I'm 23 and really got into Dylan about 3 years ago and this has been the first album of original material released since. It's lovely to hear another young person love Bob as much as I do and to cover material from across his career so beautifully. Please keep it up, you're great!

Last time I saw Bob Dylan in concert ( In Fremantle, Emma) I said to my wife..he should tour his songs with someone who can still sing them..I know, sacrilege right?..but they are such great songs they deserve to be heard at their best.. I vote for Emma Swift to become the vocalist in Bob Dylan's band..

Yeah great call or maybe he do a load of tours with of an array of artists doing their versions of his songs like the 30th anniversary concert. It would be incredible!

Check out John O'connell doing subterranean Homesick Blues live in liverpool. John is a Liverpool musician who does a tour called simply Dylan. I have seen him many times, and he is really worth going to see. Johns show is not a Dylan tribute, but rather a tribute to Dylan. When he sings Dylans songs you hear Dylans words at their best.

The collection highlights an underheralded talent of Dylan's: he could write really great melodies when he set his mind to it. Swift's singing of course brings that out, while still focusing on Dylan's lyrics.Great stuff!

For a very long time (given I've been following Dylan since 1965) I was 'QJ' but over time stopped hearing that as the source of that affectionate quip faded away. Recently, while listening to my favorite Madison area community radio station, "WVMO 98.7 on your FM dial", played this song....and, wow, I stopped, turned up the dial and just stood there soaking it in. Less than a week later I was holding your CD which I'd ordered that same day. Absolutely love it and play it often.

The video is a lot of fun. Add in the arrangement and there are lots of parts that have to work together to support the singer. And it works, it all comes together. Listening to the song from the album, without the visuals, allowed me to focus on the singing and it is terrific. There is a lot of attention to the way Dylan mouths the words and Emma is very respectful in her approach. Super job, nuanced and lovely. The fact that Emma is not showing off makes her work here all the more powerful.

It’s so nice when someone doesn’t try to mislead the viewer in the introduction into thinking that it’s Bob Dylan’s original version just to get people viewing; like that Bankymen clown, who removes all the comments that don’t kiss his arse and make out as if that boring cover is the best ever.
