Hi Rollo, I have rescue pets as well, and some strays, kind of a mix, so it warms my heart to see you have a rescue, Emma!! Mine are all inside except for some stray kitties, i feed outside and make them cat house to stay warmer in the winter months.

CRUISE QUESTION: I see many videos on peer runners…If you are late getting back to your ship & it is leaving , if you were to jump in the water & swim after it, would the captain be required to rescue you & take you on to the cruise ship?

Only if you swam so far you got out into the harbour in the middle of the ocean? Then they’d have to rescue you, and disembark/ban you for life 😂

I don't have a reliable answer for you but I will say 1. you don't want to be in the water near a working peer due to water quality 2. you don't want to be in the water next to a giant ship due to extreme danger. 3. if they were somehow involved in your rescue they would only be taking you onboard to get you to safety and then put you off of the ship due to your extreme recklessness

Annual multi-trip policies. Usually worth it even if you only take a couple of cruises. Strictly speaking Emma should probably be on business travel insurance but that's pretty niche.
