Can you pay on a payment plan? Like book in January and sail in October

Being on a floating hotel doesn’t appeal to me but this would be better then inside!

The hidden bar is a brilliant way to upsell to passengers. You have to pay for drinks, even if you have the premium drinks package. How could you not get drinks in a bar, one that you feel super special to get to? They're getting more and more aggressive with their tactics.

I've ordered them in restaurants, (Red Robin calls it a Royal, when it has a fried egg). I've made bacon cheeseburgers with a fried egg at home. I've never heard of it being called Australian style. Having never been to Australia, I have no idea what they call it.

They didn’t want to offer people to stay on board since they were just going to refund everyone’s ticket. that is my guess and they didn’t want people to be faced with an option to forfeit a refund

Hello Emma, I like your video, you have a lovely chatty style to answering questions. I wanted to ask if you will do a video on the Aurora cruise to Brugge? My wife and I were also on the cruise, being only our second ever cruise. Video logs like yours and others have helped us make the plunge into cruising - thank you. I am trying to pay it forward by doing my own vlogs, and it will be interesting to compare with your vlog if you do one.

Hi Emma, I am looking at going back to Alaska next year with my best friend, which cruise ship had the best balcony cabins with the most modern features and tech resources for usb c plugs etc and most importantly are the most spacious in your opinion out of Celebrity Edge cruise ships and Norwegian ships? We both used to work on Luxury ships years ago and loved it but its a different style of ship all together as you may well know. We want something with more onboard options for dining and entertainment. We are keen to do a 7 day cruise from Vancouver and want to stop at the following ports, Juneau, Skagway, Ketchikan and Sitka. Do you have any recommendations? I like the cabin in this video it looks fantastic, but wondering if because the ship is so massive with so many guests the port times will be way less, has this been your experience? Would love your suggestions. Your videos bring back so many good memories for me, and Alaska was my all time favourite destination in all of my years cruising. Have a lovely weekend. :)

A business card in the slot will do the same as leaving your room card in the slot ( Well at least on Royal this works) ... So I'm told.

Wow, we just got back from the same cruise on that ship. It would have been great to say hello to you, and to pick your brain on some of the many cruises you have tried. I think we were on the cruise the week before you sailed. We had some terrible experiences on shore excursions because it was cold and rainy for all the excursions. But I certainly enjoyed the ship and all the restaurants. We did discover that the light controls can be bypassed by any card, even just a plain cardboard card. The ship is equipped with the new Starlink satellite service and we enjoyed excellent Internet as well.

We went on a winter cruise out of Perth [Western Australia]. It was just a three day jaunt about, and back to Fremantle. It was during the bird flu epidemic, and a lot of people [including crew] got very ill. I have a strong stomach, but when nausea hit, I would go up on deck, and watch the water in the swimming pool do weird gymnastics, going from one end of the pool to another, and when it hit the end, a wall of water would sprout up, and collapse back down, and the process repeated. That was awesome fun to watch. We did have an outer cabin with a window, but a balcony would have been even better. But the price was what you might pay for a meal at a 7-star restaurant [about $250 each, if memory serves]. The meals were excellent, and that probably did not help the nausea thing, because we tackled them with a little too much enthusiasm, given the conditions But it was an excellent "taste-test" of what to expect on a cruise. The good and the bad. As we didn't go anywhere, it was not a fair test, but I suspect that mid-ocean would be very boring, as we are not really party animals. Humans are perfectly OK, but usually best in small doses. Given the challenging conditions for everyone, the crew actually did a very good job. We quickly learned not to ask for too much, as crew were dealing with other crew-mates, who were ill, and ill passengers. In fact, everyone who was reasonably OK, looked after others that were struggling [crew or passengers], which was heart-warming. When the chips are down, most folks end up doing the right thing. So it was a good experience from that POV too. Normally, we like to travel everywhere by air, and enjoy the ground experience. However, this vlog is making us keep an open mind.

I did this cruise a few weeks ago on the Norwegian Bliss which I believe is this ships twin. It was my first ever cruise and I had a solo studio cabin and it worked quite well for me. They had a live view screen next to the bed to give you a "window" to the outside. Not quite a balcony but for my budget was perfectly acceptable. There were plenty of spaces to sit and watch the fantastic Alaska scenery to pass by. Norwegian did a great job!
