I live in jeans also and have a collection from crops to straight, skinny, embellished, embroidered, distressed, full leg, flare leg and the list goes on. High rise are my favorite. My current favorite brand is from J.Crew. They are the most consistent jeans I have ever found. I even have two pair of exactly the same color and style. If one pair is in the wash, I still have another pair waiting to be worn. I live in the states, but I really enjoy hearing about British brands. Thanks for sharing tips about how to care for jeans. My favourite jeans are by Calvin Klein, I just love their skinnies! Sadly as with any such thin fabric, they tend to wear out quite quickly. I'd say they last on me for about a year with almost daily use... You should do a video about your vintage Levi's shorts and how to go about buying a pair! :)

I remember my mum back in the day having a pair of bleached skinny jeans, before the days of added stretch, and the writhing and wrestling to get back into them after a wash. Thank goodness for stretch skinnies x

I really like Asos Farleigh, slim mom jeans, for everyday. Donna Ida Ivy,classic skinny jeans is another favorite pair, but on the pricier side.

I don't have criteria about all the brands you show us here but I know very well Levis! Oh my! I share your love for these jeansI'm petite and I have many problems to find the perfect size for me. No just the length which I normally have to fix it, , also the waist... But with my Levis is just the opposite. In my last trip to USA last year I've bought two pairs of the same style and I can't be more happy with them. So I recommend it so much! About your great and huge jeans collection let me tell you something Emma: I've never seen any person who wears jeans and looks so cool and glamorous! Seriously! You look amazing in jeans and fit your shape perfectly well... It's like jeans love you, babe! The length, the waist... You look so chic with all of them. At 6' tall and a 35" inseam and slender hips, J Crew tall jeans always fit me best and their black denim washes better and stays true black longer than any other brands I've tried. I'm going to give Top Shop jeans a look though after this video and see what they have for talls. Loved this video, very informative! Another vote for a blazer vid. :-)

Just bought a black straight leg jeans from evenandodd and i love them. Was looking for a long time for a "classic " fit. Between mid and highrised, the back pockets are big and in perfect place to give that bootie an opticillussion lift. I have could go down one size but i like how she fit.

I should have bought 3 (which I actually did, but only to make sure I had a high chance of getting one with a better acid wash pattern as there is very subtle acid wash on them, however not enough to make them into a trendy piece)

MimAesthetic ...I have had to repair mine on the inner leg and it’s seems to holding up ok 👍🏻.....I love them so much ...the denim has no stretch but are so soft...I wish I had purchased another pair but who knew they would be loved as much as this 😃🥰

I've tried on multiple pairs of Levi 501 jeans (including the CT, curve etc) and they all look awful on me! I struggle with jeans at 5ft 1" and a curvy size 10, petite jeans are always too short on me and high waisted jeans come up to my bra line! The best fitted jeans I've had are Zara and believe it or Not, Boden. The Boden Soho skinny (which IMHO are more slim straight legged, 98% cotton and feel like proper denim)

I have a similar figure to Emma's except im taller and I can't get most Levi's to work for me either. They just about all look awful. The wedgie fit are the only ones I can get away with but they don't ever come in a length long enough so they're really only good to wear 3 out of 4 seasons. I have 3 pairs and I haven't seen them in awhile because its simply too cold and wet to wear them right now.

I am petite and skinny, my topshop sizing is 25 30. Somehow, zara jeans never fitted me. Their sizing is so weird. Their 32 eur size is big for me

Also love the Topshop straight leg jeans! The BDG jeans from Urban Outfitters are good high street jeans. I would recommend Frame if you love super comfortable jeans. Not sure they would look flattered on everyone, but boy they are comfortable!

I live in my jeans, I’m like you. I work in a Friendship Centre , so I can wear jeans. I sometimes pick the hem to make them a tad longer ( I’m 5 foot 10 ) and then a will get that frayed look. I usually go to winners to look for great deals. I heard Madewell jeans are amazing, pricey though. How is the training going? You have not talked about it, or I totally missed it.

I picked up a pair of men’s Levi’s in traditional 501-not the men’s skinny. 3 waist size larger than I normally wear,,,,and they are the perfect slouchy cool straight leg pair that look like they cost hundreds, rolled up cuff with chunky combat boots or with heels, or slides,,really good. On sale cost $12. Levi’s has been with me throughout my long 😉 life, starting when they had maybe 2 different fits. I used to taper the legs and waist on my Mom’s sewing machine. Guess that’s a bit of what Redone does. Ohhhh,,,all the pairs I dropped off at Goodwill over the years 😔

Being short-legged and pear shaped, for skinny jeans I really like Topshop Jamies, although their sizing is all over the place - one pair I have with waist size 32 and one size 30, both the same leg length, and they are exactly the same at the waist, while slightly different in the leg (like an inch or slightly less). I have recently discovered Levi's Mile high skinny, which are amazing. Very high waisted (more than Jamies), super flattering for my body shape and super comfy (they are more elastane-y and less proper denim-y than Jamies). The only thing is, leg length 28 is still a touch long on me, even though in other brands, 28 is an ankle grazer for me. Weird. Other than that, I really like Asos Farleigh, although those are unpredictable, I have 3 pairs of the same size in different colours and all are a bit different (material, fit). I love the idea of 501s but for me they are just too low rise. Maybe vintage ones?

Levi’s Wedgie (I think the ReDone Stovepipe is almost exactly the same shape for a fraction of the cost) any straight leg from AG, Paige Hoxton and DL1961 brand. All on the higher price side (apart from Levi’s) but last for years!

I really take my Levi’s for granted in Canada. I have to say though, I haven’t found a pair of them that I like in years!!! I wish they’d make the button fly wedgie crops in longer lengths as they just come up too short on me. I have the same 501’s you pictured and find the rise too low for even a mid rise!!! What I can’t find here that annoys me is topshop straight jeans with stretch! I wear the exact same size as you Emma, what say we trade some Levi’s 501’s for some topshop straights with stretch! 🤣

I usually wear 28 up to 30 in fast fashion jeans. Do you think it 29 would be good, especially for the more "stretchy" arket jeans ? 30 seems to have quite bigger waist.

A couple of years ago, I bought a pair of Ralph Lauren black skinny jeans in the John Lewis sale for £30 (down from over £100). They have stretch and are high waisted so they are incredibly comfortable, but I'm really not a fan of skinny jeans on me. I think it's because I'm short. I prefer straight-legged and boyfriend jeans that fit a bit looser on my legs. You look fabulous in all your jeans and your legs go on forever!

They have great accessories and they can nail a trend but because they’re everywhere (literally 4 on one street in London) everyone ends up wearing the same stuff 🙈

I love my H&M slim jeans- not tight enough to be skinny and not too loose (like mum jeans) to make me look like a potato with my 5'3 and flat everything. Super comfortable, affordable and true to size - one downside though - I have to hunt for them like crazy because they sell out pretty quickly (probably H&M not producing enough).
