I love how excited you are at this new technique because no matter how long you've been painting with watercolor, there's always something new ❤ This really turned out beautifully. Thanks for sharing.

I absolutely love this technique and the colors you used for those background trees. I cut up a cheap brush (I did watch Sarah Cray's foliage brush video), but it needs some tweaking. Even my sad result makes nice trees! I'm learning watercolor after years of painting with acrylics. After watching your video, I did the painting for my boss' Christmas card. I added a small amount of glitter to the snow on the ground and trees. My results made me happy, but I have a long way to go to get even close to the beauty of your painting. I'm planning to practice it until I get it right! Thank you so much for your videos.

I am just finding the will to start painting again. Lost so much when I could not paint and then so discouraged. I gave this a try. It was fun. I liked how my background trees turned out. Thanks for sharing this!

You are an excellent teacher. Your style is very appealing! Your voice is pleasant and even toned, so I enjoy listening to the process. These are great techniques I am anxious to try.

Thank you so much for this--we had that kind of snow just this week and it was gorgeous, but it didn't last (too wet). Your obsession with the blue in the trees matches the Pacific Northwest forests with a mix of spruce (often bluish), fir, hemlock, and various pines. I was so wishing I could paint something like this to reflect what we woke up to this week and now I can!! Thanks again!! ❤️

I love the blues and greens in the background! I recently created a forest in the background using some of my favorite colors. Sennelier Payne’s Grey, DS Q Gold, DS Undersea Green, DS Moonglow. It turned out beautiful for the fall scene I was creating. Now I need to dig into my watercolors and experiment with the blues and greens for a winter scape!. Thank you!

Geeze 🤦🏽♀️ I’m not sure why I can’t seem to do this blurry technique. Mine just bleed into one blob of color. No definition. I’d love if you’d explain your water to paint ratio of your strokes.
