If I had as many pets as you and I had a basement I would definitely keep them down there too, if you ever had a tornado or a severe storm you wouldn’t have to move them anywhere
@moonbased77963 жыл бұрын
That’s actually pretty smart! I have a basement as well and I have three pets currently (two cats and one cockatiel) and what I have done is that I have two cages for my cockatiel (technically three if you want to count the carrier that I use to take him to the vet or get his nails done) and the one in my basement is only used if there is a storm. It’s a bit smaller than the main cage (it’s a inch or two smaller and it’s easier to carry around) and once the storm is over he can go back into his main cage :)
@macijadee3 жыл бұрын
Exactly but I live in Florida so if I had that many pets I wouldn’t have a basement and if a hurricane came then I’d be staying with the pets and I’ll probably be gone depending on what stage it is
@DonQuijote-sp6de3 жыл бұрын
Yeah that's a great idea but what if there's a flood?
@kylafreeman38133 жыл бұрын
Back when we only had two cats we had a tornado warning, and moving both cats down when they were already freaked out by the storm was a NIGHTMARE. I'm happy they were safe with us but I completely agree, it makes sense to keep immobile animals in a safe space in the home
@rowan0331 Жыл бұрын
@Roberto Hernandez I guess you'd have to see whether you were in a state more likely of flooding or tornadoes. 🤷♀️

Yes to full daily routines! Also I’d love one day to see a breakdown of how all those electronics are organized. If that makes any sense Lol. I’m about to redesign my reptile room and I’m always struggling to find enough outlets and keep the wires from everything organized. Between thermostat probes, lights and heating it’s usually a cord fiasco, but your room looks so put together!!! Teach me lol.
@dakotasolomon37653 жыл бұрын
I keep lots of aquariums and so far the thing I've found that helps the most with cords is labeling them it doesn't help with making them look neat but it helps alot in situations where you need to know what cord goes to what. I just use little lable stickers wrapped around the cord and write on it ive also seen people use the plastic bread ties or masking tape. I will usually number the tanks and then have my cords labeled like "filter 6" or whatever it goes to and it helps alot when looking for a specific cord
@entitysexotics38843 жыл бұрын
@@dakotasolomon3765 that’s a great idea! I even have a label maker. That would’ve come in handy when my dumb ass accidentally spilled a can of Pepsi in my surge protector last month 🤦♀️

@EmmaLynneSampson3 жыл бұрын
My rabbits get a salad every day, and I usually only give them pellets 1-2 times per week, I use them more of a treat. The amount you’ll want to give them will depend on the weight of your rabbit!

Why is the dog bowl so funny looking. (I don't have dogs.)
@EmmaLynneSampson2 жыл бұрын
It’s called a slow feed bowl!! Some dogs (like alaska) will eat their food WAY too fast which can increase their risk of choking or getting bloat. The bowls like these make it take the dog a bit longer to eat!

Question why does your dog Alaska eat out of a slow feed Bowl? Is there a medical reason?
@Zoeclarke013 жыл бұрын
Slow feeders are great for animal's like cats or dogs that eat super fast and majority will throw it up, so a slow feeder makes have to slow down and actually digest their food. If that makes any sense :)
