France and Arsenal legend Emmanuel Petit, who has lifted both the Euros trophy and the World Cup, has joined talkSPORT's epic lineup for the tournament .
The Euros will see talkSPORT’s biggest ever social and video team at a major tournament, capturing all the action across multiple cities - bringing the action to digital in a way we haven’t seen before.
Emmanuel Petit says: “I've played for my country at two UEFA European Championships, as well as at two World Cups, so I’m delighted to be joining the talkSPORT lineup for this summer’s tournament. It’s an incredible competition and fantastic to be part of a winning squad once again.”

Brazil but I don't think Argentina are . One thing in England is the real fans are being priced out . But Brazil, England, Argentina, Italy, Germany all love football . Remember England will always have that history where football had its beginnings, the uk atarted certain clubs in Brazil. The oldest stadiums are in England But Brazil will always be remembered for showing how to play football in a beautiful way.

Football to me is WAY more important than politics. Ive seen countless different political parties, referendums, prime ministers, US Presidents etc and not a single one that gets elected changes my life in any meaningful way. But football does. I voted once when I was 18 and never again. Thanks for everything you did for Arsenal and France. You made a bigger difference in my life than Donald Trump or Joe Biden or Boris Johnson or Tony Blair ever could.

This interview gets even funnier. The British still think overseas players come for a beautiful country. Wonderful weather, beautiful food you Gotta be kidding they come for the money. Does he live in England now? No he lives in the south of France wonderful weather wonderful food and they get there in this money, then they get the hell out as soon as possible and English as gullible as they are still think that they love their Premier League

The english have a big problem. It's their clubs. Manu, Spurs and Liverpool have always had to many players in the squad. And they always disapointed massively, always. Why, well their players who are known in England as "ballers" will not even considered in other countries. They should play through their strenght, the fighting spirit. Maybe they would be able to win something. When i hear the discussion if or not maddison, trent and Palmer should be included in the squad i just has to laugh. None of them are bearly good enough to make the squad. Trent no defender and not hood enough in midfield, maddison no hoper, palmer penalty king. Maybe the letter deserves a place in the squad if others are injured.

Football is supposed to be the beautiful game. Jeff thinks his politics should go hand in hand with football and that's what has been happening over the last 10 years or so, and what has it done? We are more divided than the 90s, that's for sure. Its pure ego to think your politics trump people's enjoyment of a sport. When people come home after a long hard week at school, work or whatever, they want to enjoy their passion. Not listen to 🥂 socialist Sterling telling us about his pro open borders obsession. We are professional in our working class jobs, yet you get to push your politics into something that isn't yours to do. The ego of that is unreal to me.

Emmanuel Petit is not liked in France is tolerated. He's loved in the UK because they just lap it up and he has a way of words that make the British lap it up by saying how wonderful the Premier League is knowing that they pay the most looking at those pictures of France celebrating the World Cup, could you imagine that in the UK, they don't be drunk vomiting in the street, smashing things up getting into fight the last thing the world needs is England winning the tournament. The delusion of grandeur is always very very high in the UK and talkSPORT.

Chelsea Emmanuel Petit's favourite topic. The club he hates he played for them he played for Arsenal he's never ever got anything nice to say about Chelsea he's been slating them for years. I don't know what happened to him at Stamford Bridge, but things they paid his wages for a few years, and he was injured for a best part of that period, he hates them why because he won many things at Arsenal, their rivals of Chelsea Chelsea Spain big he wasn't part of that period maybe day cut short his contract he hates Chelsea

@@vibereceptor6675 No Great Britain did enough to save themselves. But to be honest your right, france had no choice but to surrender, they were overwhelmed and so was the British troops in france aswell. They get a bad rap for ww2, but they did help to hold off the German Forces in Dunkirk which helped with the evacuation, so you have to give them credit for that. Your right though G.B being an Island saved the British, but they still defended it bud and was a constant thorn in the Germans sides with their raids.

The French are not as passionate as the British or English that's not true. Maybe the French have more in their lives because their country is such a beautiful place the number one tourist destination in the world, their food, their culture, their wine, the British, they don't have anything they have pubs alcohol and football without thoseThe country would have nothing.
