It's so heart-warming to watch someone who cares for their animals, as much as you do, Emma: big, small, young, old, you manage to spread your attention between them all and it is a joy and priveledge to witness. You set the bar for us very high. It's wonderful. Thank you for all your hard work and for sharing your days with us.

I just love your vids. I am 78 now but as a child i lived near horse country in Florida. Spotting several minis far back from the road, I reversed my car so fast I mowed down a row of 8 mailboxes. (Yes, jumped out to try to replant the posts) 😜 and mom drove us 150 miles to see a rodeo. At the Tex/Mex border I saw the Lippizaners(?). Enormous work and dedication ... in what you and your guys are about. 💌❤ thanks so much

You and your Ginger Team are color-coordinated. Lovely how sitting sidesaddle in the vehicle, you cross your right leg over the left, and that liberty trains huge Custard to circle counter-clockwise. Bravo! Emma, how you stick to your principles that focus on lifestyle, happiness and great experiences so you don't have to "make" Liberty. Learned so much here! 🤩👍👏

I love watching all the fun things you do with your animals. Truly inspirational. I have one question though. How do you keep the horses and ponies from breathing in the exhaust from the 4 wheeler? I ask because I've been on trails when 4 wheelers pass and there is always fumes. Some more than others. Sometimes I stop and wait a few minutes for the fumes to dissipate. I would hate to be stuck only a few feet behind one for an extended period of time. You obviously care a lot about your animal family and would never knowingly cause them harm. I would suggest, if you haven't done so already, that you ride around in the cart with someone else pulling with the 4 wheeler so you can test the fume situation.
@andreabyrne65272 жыл бұрын
I've ridden quad bikes all my life and generally speaking unless a bike is super hot or not running correctly or on good fuel, it shouldn't have that stinky smell or the same fume/fuel emissions that a super revved up or half way to dead bike may have. If my quads start to reek, it means somethings is wrong. You have the same exposure on top of the quad as you would around the sides. I would agree that if you haven't felt the heat off the back of ur bike urself, you wouldn't put another animal or person in that situation. I don't think she was riding all that long to warrant a heat check though either, and her animals where either tall enough or placed up high enough that exhaust heat or a face full a fumes was even in question though. ;) I'd just watch that none of my horse/cattle get their scratch/itch sessions on with the back of my bike (Exhaust burns are no joke sadly).

Hi Emma. I'm planning to ride from Sheffield to Appleby Fair. Looking forward to riding but dreading camping! I've done lightweight bike camping but never for more than a couple nights. Just bought a lightweight bed as I found sleeping on the ground is rubbish and everything gets wet. Any advice?

Love watching your videos! I have quite a few medical issues so I don’t ride very much. So I have started to do Liberty training with my 17 yr draft cross/ appi mostly just going for walks. He was doing really good following me when there was lots of snow on the ground, now he just wants to stop and eat the grass, being a horse of course. What do you suggest? 🤠🐴🇨🇦

Hi Emma, what a joy to watch your videos. I had three large Percheron draft horses and they were such a delight. Their personalities are wonderful. As a novice with horses I started to learn all about them using Parelli Natural Horsemanship and the relationships we had were so rewarding. There seems to be some similarities in some of the commands and tools you use, so I was wondering if you use a specific method like Parelli, or is it your own style? Thanks for all the videos!
