She made mistake, thinking money could buy happiness. Soon after two children, she found out, that living in the 1200 rooms palace, ia no heaven. She was a foreigner much envied and hatered by the Royal family as well as the ordinary people. She was not happy and he let her go, minus her two children of course. This is normal among Royalties, even in England. Children will stay with the Royal family. More safe for the children. Only in her case, they don't allow her to see her children. She stayed in Brunei for a year after the divorce but perhaps she found it futile, so she moved back to Malaysia. The poor children. I never see the daughter smile in any of her pictures released by the palace. She looks sad most of the time.
