i just finished 6th going to 7th and where i live we don’t even have college (like that) we have Kindy (2-5) Primary (5-11) Intermediate (11-13) College (13-18) University (is a choice but most people go and the longest is 5 years depending on what you study and rarely it will go over that)

just in case you guys cared but if you have a top bunk at a camp or something take the whole mattress off and but the sheets on and then put it back on the top and finish the bed (only works with smaller/thinner mattresses)

FYI (to all of my fellow and future UCSB students) the dorm walls are push pin walls so I would invest in those if u want to put decorations instead of command hooks or putty (those work better on the wood or any other surface)

i’m not entirely sure what the specifics are but most first years live in dorms. all you have to do if you want to live in the res halls is fill out an online housing form on the housing website once you get accepted! the deadline is on the housing website but i think its in may or june!

Ambey Jae there are many ways to go without your parents. You can apply for student loans and pay it off later in life. Don’t ever give up! Talk to your guidance counselor about it
