One of the most beautiful moments of this show is when Tech asserts "Echo has chosen another path...as did Crosshair" then further expresses his feelings in his own way. Tech has been hurting a lot from Crosshairs decision. It's apparent even though he doesn't say that as he brings up Crosshair when Omega is obviously very upset over Echo etc. Touching example of the way people actually CAN think and empathisize sometimes when they are nuerodivergent.

When I first viewed this episode at its premier, I wondered if, with town and seemingly everything else abandoned, and assuming the Batch found a way off the rock, they could turn in the already gathered ipsium to Cid, then cut ties and mine the ipsium in the other abandoned mine (the one with the pool and collapsed entrance) to fund themselves. It would be a bit like the Lone Ranger with his hidden silver mine worked by his nephew. That mine provided silver for both trade and bullets. An ipsium mine would do similar: trade and explosives, especially if the team found a way to stabilize it like a plastic explosive. I also liked this episode because not everything is good at the end. While they've gained shelter and water, they need food, communications, and a way off the rock. Survival mode makes it more interesting that an episodic reset.
