Tech didn’t even think twice about jumping after Omega. He’s becoming my favorite other than Crosshair.

I loved the fact when Omega fell, Tech didn't hesitate to jump after her, his brotherly instinct came through and he just wanted to protect her

Tech being even more techy and irritable this episode also shows that he feels the loss of Echo, even if he doesn't show it the way people expect. Great episode.

Honestly I loved this episode so much especially the stuff with tech because to me he’s always felt very autistic coded and as a autistic person myself I’ve always related to him and struggled with the same problems of struggling to show outward emotion no matter what emotion I’m feeling in the inside is and so just seeing them talk about it made me cry a bit because of taht the line “ I may process moments and thoughts differently, but it does not mean that I feel any less than you." Really hits hard cause so many people think taht just cause you don’t show outward emotions means you don’t feel any at all but no it’s not like taht and I just it made me really happy
@anneclough5771 Жыл бұрын
I felt exactly the same way. This is the type of representation I love because Tech was not asked to be different. Rather, Omega learned what she needed to understand Tech as his authentic self. Perfect!

I absolutely loved this episode. Sucker for this type of bonding moments. Do you think we will ever get the ship back or get a new one?
@orainefoster8316 Жыл бұрын
My guess: think they'll get a new one because Omega needs to learn the lesson of letting go and I feel like by the end of Episode 10 she is going to be fine with leaving the Marauder with the mysterious figure. Or if the ship gets blown up or something, she'll learn to live with it and move on like Tech said.
@fern7208 Жыл бұрын
I hope they do get it back. It seemed like the person who stole the ship didn’t go into hyperspace and leave, so the batch might find this person and the ship in the next episode.

they get it back. there's a shot in the trailer of them in the marauder with hunter piloting that we haven't seen yet

The conversation Omega had with Tech remind me of God of War where Kratos tells Atreus to let him mourn his own way, even if he doesn't show things effect him they do.
@walteredgar2700 Жыл бұрын
I have to believe “The Crossing” refers to a double crossing by none other than Cid Scaleback. That ship was stolen too easily, combined with her reaction when they called - she had to have set them up.
@TimberlakeTigerGirl Жыл бұрын
Now that you mention it, that could be a possibility. I had a feeling that the guy's warning about Cid is about to come into play.

Like Kratos said in 2018 God of War: "Do not mistake my silence for a lack of grief."

Really, Crosshair's loss is more significant for the Batch because they came up together. They do not have the same history with Echo; so Tech's loss of Crosshair is probably more intense and the Batch is still processing that.
@orainefoster8316 Жыл бұрын
Overall, a solid B episode for me, I enjoyed it! Loved the Western feel in the soundtrack, cinematography, and the aesthetic of the planet. Tech and Omega bonding, especially that one conversation together is one of my favorite moments of the entire series so far. Seeing Tech be so vulnerable and Omega taking things extremely hard after Echo leaves and learning to understand him more was SO well done. We really needed that. As usual, Dee and Michelle gave masterful performances in that scene. Can’t wait to see what’s going on with the purple haired person who took the Marauder. Idk why, but she gave me SW Visions vibes.

“[The Jedi] trained more than anything else to understand the transitional nature of life, that things are constantly changing and you can’t hold on to anything. You can love things but you can’t be attached to them, You must be willing to let the flow of life and the flow of the Force move through your life, move through you. So that you can be compassionate and loving and caring, but not be possessive and grabbing and holding on to things and trying to keep things the way they are. *Letting go is the central theme of the film.“* --George Lucas, Star Wars Archives: 1999-2005

I don't know why, maybe since we just saw Gungi this season but I thought the person who stole the ship was another one of the younglings from his group, maybe Petro?

You also need to understand that the Clones like Tech were trained to be somewhat emotionally detached, because soldiers die in War and the Kaminoans didn't want the Clones to be affected by it....

The only issue i have with this episode is i feel like the ship should be better secured, regardless of it being watched. How did they break in? Dont they get notified if someones accesses their ship just like I get notified if i log into my google account on a different device?

Maybe that was Echo's job but now that he's gone they forgot to do it. You make a good point, I'm just head cannoning ideas.

This is what confused me. You're telling me Tech, of all people, didn't implement an intruder protocol into the Marauder? Or at the very least an alarm system? You easily could of had an alarm get set off but because of where they were forced to land they couldn't get back to it in time.
@JiReyAnimation Жыл бұрын
They need an astromech droid to keep the ship locked until they get back or to warn them if someone's coming.

Am I the only one who thinks that drill looks a awful lot like the Greycat MultiTool with a mining addons and the Ipsium in that rocks looks like a lovechild between the Hadanite and Quantanium? I think there's some SC backers in the Bad Batch creative teams!

Omega needs to stop acting like a brat and throwing tantrums when someone doesn’t agree with her. Just because Tech doesn’t vent like she does when something upsets him doesn’t mean that he doesn’t care. If they are family like Omega claims them to be then she should know this about Tech by now. I guess she isn’t as insightful as people have been making her out to be.

How in the universe are there not ways to lock and secure your spacecraft? They can travel faster than light across a galaxy but can’t keep someone from easily stealing their ship, makes zero sense. Other than that great episode

this was a great character episode. echo's departure and absence is allowing for the remaining bad batch members to have some friction and actually deal with that. the situation with cid is coming to a head. tech had to shame her with receipts to help.
@brandontaylor3252 Жыл бұрын
It seems likely that Sid us the one who set them up in the first place. Her reaction at the end combined with how quickly the thief made off with the ship is a lot of coincidence.
@ladylothwen Жыл бұрын
@@brandontaylor3252 while i don't rule out the possibility i personally would prefer it to be her own selfish interests coming back around. she can be really callous and cold towards others when she doesn't see an angle or benefit for herself. it would be own inability to compromise and show loyalty to those who have helped her that would end up turning the bad batch away from her rather than an intentional betrayal.
