Holy cow... I am sick about this. What makes me even sicker is the sinking feeling that Chas is going to remain silent about the motives/reasons why all of this happened. Silent, while Cain's name get trashed/his family gets ostracized. And I suspect that only when it's beyond the point of no return she will spill... or Aaron will figure out what really happened and spill what he knows. The fallout will potentially be massive. It's already pretty awful.

I thought was strange Aaron "exit". He is a character of a massive importance and everyone loves him like me. Aaron is my favourite character. If Aaron really left the exit would be i dont know more emotional and i dont feel that. The last time he left was emotional and even had a song to his goodbye. This exit now doesnt made sense in my opinion. So i think maybe Aaron in a impulse kill Al and Cain was protecting him. I dont want Aaron in jail but would be a beautiful ending If Aaron and Robert have a reunion on prison. Together forever in a prison. Its not Ideal but would be a great ending and do justice to their love story. I think that theres a reason to Aaron actor and Robert actor appear together in photos Danny and Ryan. Its my theory. Can be wrong but i still hope for Aaron happiness and a happy ending between Aaron and Robert one day who knows. Their love story deserves a fair and beautiful ending. The End.

What should have happened: Al shot Cain and left him to die. Cain survives in hospital but Chas can't run away with Al when she finds out he's responsible. Al leaves on his own but Cain tells Paddy about the affair. Meaning Chas gets what's been coming to her and we can move on from this pointless storyline instead of dragging it out for the sake of it!

I prefer Chas and Al leave. Things get rocky. Chas leaves Al even more disgraced, and comes back to Emmerdale. Cain finds out Al put hands on Chas, then Cain did his little entrapment scheme ... and that was the end of Al. This ending makes it look like some Dingle killed Al for doing the same thing every other Dingle has done.

Watching the clip again, I think that Chas did it too. Cain gave her a look when he was being led to the paddy wagon and the way the audio (presumably Chas' POV) distorted, I think she walked in on the scene, got the gun, shot Al, Cain convinced her that it wasn't fatal (he lied) and to leave and that he would take care of everything.
