In fact, watching this scene more on I can see just that DS Rogers’ Colleague is even worse than DS Rogers is. Liam was right, if the Police had done their job properly then he wouldn’t have had to do anything and the Police would’ve put Meena behind bars.

Well in this case the Serial Killer is actually telling the truth. At no point did Meena rush Liam. She provoked him if anything... Manpreet and Liam are just desperately conspiring to send Meena down which Meena deserves.

Liam chose a shit solicitor useless. He should have been telling Liam to stop talking and stick to the story and also tell him not to rise to the taunts being used by the vile police detective. Liam came incredibly close to dropping himself in it here something which a solicitor should help you not to do.

Thats TV for you, solicitors are portrayed in a way that they're really not IRL. For example, somehow Imran Habeeb in coronation street, who is a solicitor, appears in court as a barrister. The soaps don't know how the legal system works.

@@thomasflanagan8754 Yeah you can be a solicitor or a barrister but not both at the same time. Now I am by no means a legal expert or a solicitor of any kind however in this scenario I would have Liam stick to the same story manpreet made in the interview and go in with a prepared statement on the matter, I would tell him not to answer any other questions from the detective and remain calm when he trys to taunt him. When the detective asked questions I would respond by saying my client doesn't need to answer that and anytime he taunted Liam or tried to get some kind of coerced response I would call into question the relevancy of it. The key is shut the detective out of your head that way they can't mess with your mind.

I really hate those kind of cops that have that aire of attitude like they solved the case and know all the players its that kind of attitude how they miss the mark if they really looked for meena they would have found her already or had some officers in the village undercover taking things seriously but they dont
