After she lost Donna, I can't see April interested in kid stuff while Marlon is unjustly inside. She will stop at nothing until she gets her dad back home.

Exactly, Marlon is all she has left. She's gonna be super determine to bring him home. Especially since she knows he's innocent and he's not doing well in such a horrible place. Good on Mandy being a good person in April and Marlon's corner.
