It was a very tragic accident. I think what made Bob feel worse is that Jimmy and Nicola encouraged Angelica to lie, keep it quite hence Bob being so nasty to Cathy thinking it was her driving and she was lying about it. I think Bob would of had more sympathy for Angelica if there was no cover up to begin with. Bob still might think other wise and speak up for Angelica..

Yes, Bob has in the past been a trash parent. However, he does have the moral high ground in this because his son is DEAD. He has been given a LIFE sentence of grief and thus is entitled to his anger over how and why his son LOST HIS LIFE. Nicola still has her daughter even if she goes to prison, she still gets to see and talk to her child. Nicola will still be able to visit her child if she goes to prison, Bob only gets to visit his sons GRAVE. So, yeah, Bob has the moral high ground. And considering Nicola tried to cover up what her child did to Bob's son, she has a lot of nerve asking him to help her and her family.

I disagree. Nicola was simply a desperate mother trying to appeal to the better nature of a fellow parent. Bob, as much as his grief was justified, was judging Angelica far too harshly and shifting all the blame onto her. Cathy may not have been driving the car but she stole the keys. Heath would still be alive if she hadn't taken them.

There's 2 ways of looking at this one. Bob obviously is mad with greif and anger due to the death of Heath Angelica made a massive mistake and she's prepared to pay the price for it, but it doesn't bring Heath back. But this will forever just be a tragic accident that could've been avoided

All 3 in the car were partially to blame each for getting in a stolen car. You can't punish the dead but you can punish the other 2 people. Judge thought losing her brother was punishment enough for Cathy. Angelica got 8 months because of mitigating circumstances and remorse and it wasn't premeditated. Brilliant storyline

I actually think Cathy *DID* kill her own brother & Angelina is simply taking the blame to cover her friend. However Angelica didn't think it through because she implicitly naively thought that being only a kid, the law will go easy on her. But here's the rub. Once Jimmy & Nicola tell her she will go to prison or at least a young offenders institute for a long time, she then realises she has indirectly put herself in a catch 22 situation. Namely getting sent down for something she didn't do. I have a feeling she will plead not guilty but will face getting sent to prison anyway. And Cathy will open up to Bob and admit she killed her own brother causing her dad to disown her for killing Heath and lying to him and the police.

The age of conviction in the UK is 10 years old, previously Kyle was in trouble too. (Personally, I do think that age 10 is way too low, most of EU is 12-14.)
