Gus forged her signature, stole her embryos, dumped his own child with her biological mother, let the two of them bond and then came back to inform them that he was moving to France to be with his parents in laws. And, because he is such a useless father, is no doubt intending for them to do most of the childcare while he maybe gives Ivy one cuddle a day, read her one story a week if she is lucky. Rhona has made mistakes, but there is only one villain in this story and it isn't her.

I never said Rhona was innocent, but if we are going to compare lists of shitty behaviour, Gus has been far worse. It is easy to stand on the outside and say that Rhona shouldn't have done ABC and should have done XYZ. She didn't do the right thing but she did the understandable thing. She raised Ivy for several weeks, bonded with her, loves her like a mother should and in a moment of madness where she understandably wasn't thinking straight, did the only thing she could think of to prevent being sperated from her daughter. And to protect her from Gus because he wouldn't know good parenting if it walked up and bit him on the backside
